Jacksonville would def. take a QB. So would Oakland.

At this point, I don't trust they would take the right one, so it's all gravy.

As we point out daily, teams can trade into their spot, though I'm not sure anyone would want to trade up for this QB class.

What teams, in the market for a QB, would trade into the top spot in the next Draft?

If only this were a better year for QBs.

Don't get me wrong, I still want one of the three more likely two) worthy 1st rounders, but I'm not really worried about other teams. Geno Smith or Tyler Wilson are both a bit of a reach in the top three, but we're desperate.

Because I'm sure Palmer will be around when he's 50. It may take a few years but they will gradually get rid of the retarded Al Davis scholarships (perhaps by letting them go via free agency to KC) and bring in some decent players. The difference is that Oakland has a new regime. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly, yet expecting different results.

Do you think Brady, Rodgers or one of the Mannings could come to Oakland and suddenly make them a miracle team? If so, please give me a toke off what you're smoking. QB can only take the team so far. Heart only takes you so far. You need talent too. When a QB throws the ball right to your hands and you can't catch it, it's kind of hard to throw the QB under the bus.

BTW, this is a point of debate on the Raider forums. Palmer is the ONLY reason we're not going 0-16 this year. I guess it's Palmer's fault that the running game and defense are among the worst-ranked in the NFL.

I didn't address your argument because I feel like it has already been debunked.
Brady would get more out of everyone on that team. He would demand it. The receivers would do more work and study harder. Just the way it goes.

The overall point is you can satisfy any position on a football team easier than the starting QB outside of the top 5. Palmer doesn't have much left in the tank. Don't know much about Pryor that you all got in the suplemental last year either though.

You know, at some point it's on your receivers to make a damn play.

"Uhp, nothing I can do but throw my arms up and say 'oh well.'"

-Peyton Manning in the stretch of games with the Colts when his receivers were down to a Jacob Tamme who couldn't catch, Blair White, Anthony Gonzalez, and Austin Collie

You know man it has to be bad for you guys. You all have been drafting toward the top, including a #1, for what seems like a decade. That team should be loaded with talent with all of the top picks the faid has had over that time frame.

They have drafted terribly. Their best draft pick in the last 15 plus years has been a kicker for crying out loud. You'd think after being a laughing stock for so long and consistently having top draft choices year after year they'd have some ballers on their team. Nope. I know we're not much better but if it weren't for the Raiders people would make fun of us more. They are garbage lol.

Like I said before, it's obviously Palmer's fault that our defense is so bad...right?

What happened to DHB and Moore? I thought OAK was building a WR core

**** that. Stay exactly where we are and take whatever QB we've evaluated as our guy.

This.

We lose to the Turds, we're in the clear. There's no way we're beating Indy, and I'm pretty sure Denver will be competing for a first round bye up until the last week of the season.

The odds that CP will have a melt down on draft day are close to 100%.....

Nah, when you have the number one pick it gets settled way before the actual draft day.

The meltdown will be stretched out for at least 2-3 weeks.

Nope. I just quit on caring whatsoever and continue hating with greater ferocity.

Perhaps start supporting the other tribe. You know, the one that that was smart enough to sell the house to get the talent?

There will be no meltdown on draft day. We will know our pick weeks in advanced, and will be united in one celebrating finally drafting The One.
