Well, well, well. Guess who was right about Peyton Manning.

ME.

Yeah, don't act like you've forgotten. Don't act like you were on board the whole time. You all called me crazy. A lunatic. You all said stuff like "Shut up" and "I hate you" and "Will you please shut up, I'm begging you." But now it is YOU ALL who should shut up, because YOU WERE WRONG and I WAS RIGHT. We should have signed Peyton Manning, and now instead of being on the road to the Super Bowl, we're on the highway to HELL!!! (Football hell.) Maybe if you motherfuckers had listened to ME, you wouldn't have to spend so much money on airplane banners.

Let's look back everything I got right, shall we?

Peyton Manning

NAILED IT. Peyton is on pace for well over 4,000 yards this year.

Peyton Manning

FUCK YEAH. Peyton has 30 touchdowns ALREADY.

Peyton Manning

YUP. He's got more passing yards and touchdowns than Cassel, Quinn, and Stanzi combined.

Peyton Manning

WHAT'S THAT NOW? He's won at least 8 games in a row? DAMN STRAIGHT.

Peyton Manning

UH HUH. I toldja whoever signed Peyton would clinch their division title before week 14. One of my boldest predictions.

Peyton Manning

WHO ELSE COULD HAVE PREDICTED that we wouldn't hold a lead for the first 9 games if we didn't sign Peyton???

Peyton Manning

I TOLD YOU TO WRITE IT DOWN.

PEYTON MANNING, BITCHES. COME AT ME.

i said in preseason the Broncos win the division if Manning was at least 50%.

Manning @ 50% is better than all three QB's who reside in the AFC West.

I'm not thinking he'd have gotten all that had he played under a Pioli-run franchise. His neck is stiff and all, but he's not that much of a robot!

But if he does get all of those things, remind me and I'll lobby for further Casino cash to line you pockets. Around the $62.7M mark you'll be right there with Matt cASSHOLE.. I'll do my best, really....

Pioli described it as asking the girl out that doesn't want to go out with you. Sounds like he threw out a powerful argument. The story being told is that Pioli just threw out a lowball number without trying to sell the franchise.

That's not a legit argument because you have to take out the wins by the Broncos. It also neglects the fact that the Broncos are the 3/4th best team in the league. And for comparisons sake, the Chiefs play damn near the same schedule.

And for comparisons sake, the Chiefs play damn near the same schedule.

Which, as many predicted, would be easier than the teams on paper.

Don't get me wrong - I think Denver will be in the final 4 of the AFC - but saying this schedule was brutal isn't accurate...

I think when you compound all the factors its been pretty damn brutal. Really everyone's schedule is brutal after re-alignment, scheduling rules, and the salary cap implementations.

The reason we're in this position is 3 fold: A number 2 pick success, a defense that had to defend for Tim Tebow, and 75% Peyton Manning leadership/presence.

I am really interested in how we perform against the Old Browns. If they best us we're solidly the number 4 team in the AFC and might face Indy. Losing those games to the Pats and Texans was huge. Imagine if they were scheduled now instead? I think the Broncos beat the Texans, but still lose to the Pats and that's the bye week. One game...that's brutal. :)
