Lil Wayne is in ICU in critical condition after suffering yet another seizure, and we're told it doesn't look good ... TMZ has learned.

We broke the story ... the 30-year-old rapper was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in L.A. Tuesday night after suffering multiple seizures. He was released Wednesday but just hours later one of his bodyguards found him in his room, on the floor and unconscious.

Wayne was rushed to the hospital again, but this time he did not stabilize. He was taken to ICU, where he was placed in restraints because he was shaking uncontrollably.

We're told Wayne is currently "unstable," and has been placed in an induced coma. He is breathing through tubes.

We're told several people are at Wayne's bedside crying, and a number of rap artists and family members are on the way. Sources say the scene is violent as Wayne shakes uncontrollably.

Sources say there's evidence Wayne went on a Sizzurp binge after being released Wednesday, because doctors found high amounts of codeine in his system.

We're told Wanye's stomach was pumped 3 times to flush the drugs from his system.

Last September, Billboard reported the rapper had tallied 109 hits on its Hot 100, surpassing the record previously held by Elvis Presley.

Wow, I didn't know that.

The dude is good, but lately I think he's sucked. He was at his best around 2007 when he was making mixtapes, LPs, and featuring on every track he came across. I always thought his best stuff came from his mixtapes though. Da Drought 3, Dedication 2 (I think), and No Ceilings were fucking legendary.

No doubt about it. Honestly, I have no idea what song those lyrics he posted came from, but him talking about the Big Tymers gave me the vibe that they're REALLY old. When he was with the Big Tymers he was, like, 16 years old..

Not that Lil Wayne's ever really been a poet, per se. He tends to jump around in his songs. One line he's talking about how much money he has, then he's talking about fucking bitches, then he's relating macaroni to quantum physics. He's is extremely clever, though, and probably uses some of the best metaphors in the rap game.

As far as poets go, I was talking about certain others. True lyricists. You can't listen to an Eminem, Jay Z, Nas, Notorious BIG and not deny the fact that those dudes have ways with words. If you do, you likely just have an issue with their offensive language or ebonics.

You've obviously never known a drug addict in your lifetime.

Sorry, known a few, dealt with many. I see it like forgiving a family member of murdering another family member when people make excuses for drug abusers in their close circle of friends or family.

I love sex like many may love meth but it seems like stealing your money for meth is more forgivable than fucking your wife while your at work. As long as we're family

Looks like he'll be free to abuse drugs again real soon:

Lil Wayne has been hospitalized, but according to his camp and his official Twitter account — he's OK.

The multiplatinum rapper was hospitalized in Los Angeles on Friday and reps confirmed he was "recovering." He apparently tweeted to his fans from his official account on Friday night: "I'm good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love."

A person close to the superstar's camp who asked for anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter confirmed to The Associated Press that Lil Wayne had a seizure. He has a history of seizures in recent years that have led to previous hospital visits.

While there were some reports that Lil Wayne was fighting for his life, members of his Young Money camp denied it on Twitter.

On a side note at my job we did work for music labels.

Lil' bow wow put out a new DVD and representatives were going to be there in a few days. We were told in meetings several times we were to refer the artist as "Bow Wow", not Lil' Bow Wow when they were here. He was changing his image type of thing, not a lil' boy anymore. The rapper had grown up.

The whole thing was stupid/funny and we joked about it a lot. We had to have our game face on when they showed up, trying not to smirk or laugh all the while, heh.

there is a multitude of local hip hop artists here - like droves of them - a few live here in town close to me. I just don't know who they are - but they drive Lambo's and Ferrari's and things. Rap has gotten too clouded for me - I still like a track or two per year - but really I just try to find instrumental stuff - it's sort of hard to find - I love Dj Krush, Spooky, and some DJ Shadow, but that genre was really 'shorted/slighted' back around 96ish - just either rappers or break or d and b dj's - no real instrumental Dj's - Like i could count them on one hand ( for the world's tally )

You have obviously never had sizzurp. Prometh is the upper, codeine is the downer.

Melt some jolly ranchers in a 2L of Mountain Dew, put a couple shots of syrup and I goddamn guarantee you will find yourself leanin.

Back in my younger days we used to do that. Not anymore.

My preferred recipe just called for a 16oz. glass of cranberry juice, a 1/2 lime juiced in, and 1 shot of lean. Tasted just like a purple hooter.

I'll admit I liked me some lean. But it is a very slippery slope with it and can bite you in the ass in a heartbeat. Not recommended at all.

Ok but mezmorized is going to be hard one to topple. Let's just keep that in mind, going into this.

Well since this has turned into a rap discussion... what are your guys thoughts on Tech N9ne? I've been a fan of him since Absolute Power. Went to a show of his when I attended Northwest and ended up getting laid by a beautiful blonde that night :)

So I may be a little biased, but he has the best flow of anyone out there. And it's not all guns and shit. Mostly about partying and Tech fighting with inner struggles.

Here's a little dose (pun most certainly intended) of the underground equivalent of Salvador Dali:

Eminem's "No Love" is perfect.

Get Wayne on your track and verbally destroy him and his shitty flow.

Just listened to it for the first time... destroyed doesn't begin to describe it. ROFL

Too bad he never wrote a song about a plastic cup. He'd be hailed as a poet laureate around here.

I'm a recovering opioid addict dude lol. I've had syrup before. It's good. It's fun. But when you have to take so much of it that you overdose, why not just get something stronger? I'm taking into account the fact that he's supremely rich and famous and could get whatever he wanted instantly.

Why not take something stronger? Because 95% of the population doesn't need to swallow, snort or smoke a concoction of damnitalls, morphine and oxys to feel like they have recieved a buzz.

Your question is akin to asking a pot head. Why waste your money on pot, when cocaine is stronger? Doont kneed.

I'm extremely pleased to see the love of Deltron in this thread.
