He's a speed guy who will get to the QB a lot faster than Tamba ever could. I like it, though I would have taken Attaochu over him.

Injury prone, undersized guy slated to go in the 2nd round when there was a top CB, Ward at Safety and Bridgewater available. Wow. We could have traded down and selected him.

While not one in hand, if this was the Chiefs direction from the start they easily could have traded back and picked up a 2 I would imagine. We just fail.

Don't like the pick. I think we had bigger needs elsewhere, especially in the secondary. We could've picked up Hali's replacement later on, or even next year.

If he can make it through an entire season.

That's the key.

I remember another guy picked in the slot and everybody hated it. When we moved to the 3-4, it was the end of the world.

That guy is one of the better pass rushers in team history and this team has a few ATGs.

That being said I'm staying pretty consistent and am willing to admit that I am starting this fight. Furthermore, I'm admitting that every time I see your profile pic it makes me want to vomit. You're a fucking numb nuts and that is what it is.

Feel free to continue, I have to get some sleep but I'll be sure to respond to your lame comebacks in the morning.

I liked Dennard as well but our CB's aren't bad enough to warrant a pick right now.

With two of the best safeties off the board, going pass rush instead of OG was the smartest decision IMO. It can be argued we reached but I'm not going to sit here and bitch about a solid pickup.

Pat Kirwan had him going 27th.

Rob Rang had him going FIFTH. ()

Matt Miller had him going 22nd to the Eagles.

NFL Draft Scout had a mid-1st to high 2nd grade on him.

That's just what I've found in the first 45 seconds.

Look on the bright side of this draft...

We were treated to the profound incites of Ray Lewis before and after each team's pick. The entertainment value of that is priceless.

Dee Ford will be great in your defense. He is the Hali replacement. Plus if Hali/Houston are injured you have a hell of a replacement/rotational guy.

He said -- with passion -- that these kids who are drafted will have to work really hard to make it in the NFL. You can't get that kind of analysis except from a veteran like Ray. I know Chris Berman was really impressed.

Jesus why are people so freakin stupid. We drafted a play maker, for defense. None of the WRs were near worthy @23, and while i'd love to move back for an extra pick or two, we got a very good football player at a premium position, pass rusher, not a DLineman dumbass.

I thought Ray Lewis killed it last night. Absolute stabbing insight into the cold-blooded realities of the NFL. He murdered any doubts about him as a draft analyst I might have had. Those doubts are dead now. Buried. No questions asked.

seems reminiscent of when the Giants drafted JPP while having Osi, and Tuck. It worked for them because you never can have too many pass rushers, but JPP has proven frail over time.

No, it doesn't (if you'd like to see a real threat, go read ForeverChiefs58's threats towards me via PM and posts in DC).

I had some posters tell me to back off Jdiddy because he was a "good" guy. That piece of shit has been nipping at my heels for months, so I let him have it a few times. If he wants me to go back at him, then he can continue his nipping. If he wants me to ignore him like the unremarkable poster that he is, then he can ignore me.
