Walking out of the K this summer after the Royals had won (I was 10-0 in live Cards games) I had some dude ask me if that loss reminded me of '85. I was like 10 months old in October of 1985? How the hell should I know?

It is ridiculous that you can have a five game lead over the next best wild card team, and once in the playoffs, you essentially give both teams the same record and make them play head to head for the last playoff spot. It completely negates multiple regular season games for a one-off.

I was in St. Louis a couple of weeks ago, got to tour the stadium. It was very cool, so much baseball history. Supposed to have dinner on the field, but it was raining off and on, so we ate inside. Got to take some bp underneath the stadium.

For our tour, we had an excellent guide, ex school teacher, very knowledgeable.
