I'm not as skeptical about this sort of thing as most fans. Yeah, it can come off as a lame excuse, but this is a rather specific thing. Even if no one else noticed he was tipping his pitches and he just coincidentally stunk, if the Royals pitching coaches notice a tell in his delivery that a hitter can use to know whats coming, that is still a very bad thing, and sooner or later our opponents and their advance scouts are going to see it.

I don't think we need him to win. People here are broken because of Bumgardner. Outside of a performance like that from a pitcher, the difference between Cueto and Medlen or Duffy is pretty small in the small sample of the postseason.

I use ignore, but JFC, when 10 or more out of the 20 posts per page are from the same dipshits, it's no wonder so many good posters just say "fuck it" and don't bother anymore.

I'm happy to clean up, but it's tough to draw the line these days... just take the Chiefs GDT, Clay was kicked out early and then people went onto mock him and make "/Clay" posts throughout the game.

The greasemonkey script works well for me (in Chrome). If there's a general consensus of kicking out certain posters, I'm for that (no guarantee that I'd be around to do it every night though, of course). Like I said though, it's hard to draw the line after a few more obvious posters.

Teams like the 14 Orioles, the 13 Braves... where they have good pitching and a great record, but no real ace, usually fail. It's hard to win with a rotation of #3 type starters.

It's not just the negativity. A lot of guys here don't post rainbows and unicorns, but it's the shear volume of the dumbassery that gets old.
