I was looking over the Chiefs stats on the season:

Offense:

Scoring: 5th
Total offense: 16th
Run offense: 6th
Pass offense: 24th

Defense:

Scoring: 7th
Total defense: 10th
Run defense: 9th
Pass defense: 22nd

My request, is anybody able to look up these stats SINCE the Chiefs' 5 game win streak began?

The best you can do (short of doing this for the entire league, which is a shit ton of work) is tally up the 5 games, average it out and compare it to the rest of the league for the entire year. Which nets you:

Offense:

Scoring: 2nd
Total offense: 11th
Run offense: 1st
Pass offense: 28th

Defense:

Scoring: 1st
Total defense: 2nd
Run defense: 8th
Pass defense: 1st

Perhaps I shouldn't be, but I'm still shocked that, given we've opened up the passing game recently, that the Chiefs have actually done less through the air the last five games than on the season as a whole.

Having leads on the second half has resulted in much more running. Somebody must have finally talked some sense into Reid.

If the Chiefs score fewer points then they actually have a better shot at making the playoffs.

I would bet a lot of that has to do with 14 turnovers which create short fields. We have quite a few scoring drives in those 5 games that are about 30 yards or less.

According to WPI Reid took any playcalling duties away from Pederson and gave Childress more responsibility in that area. All after our 1-5 start.

Also, it's really sad but our team is more balanced without Charles.

I don't think it's because of Charles. I think it's because of his injury. Forced them to become more balanced.

Would like to believe this, but your source has zero credibility and routinely just makes shit up to get noticed.

Yeah, hopefully this is a blueprint for how to handle the game when and if he returns...
