View Full Version : The Royals show some heart, but still come up short

Let me just say for the record that I'm now a HUGE Tony Pena fan.

The Royals could've easily given up last night, but they showed the nation a ton of heart by coming back from an 11-0 deficit!

Now if we could just get some decent relief pitching ...

I agree that they showed heart, but it's always the same old crap. Pitchers that give up the most homers in the league, along with weak hitting players like Brent Mayne who is GUARENTEED to hit into a double play, and WAY too many errors and missplays for a big league club. Couple that with poor decisions by the front office, and you have a recipe for a last place ballclub. This is going to take a long time to fix.

I just hope we still have a team by the time it happens ...

What's so sad is that KC's payroll is more than the A's, but we totally suck.

Other than Sweeny, where in the hell are they spending all of this cash? And why have they STILL not got decent pitching?

God, I hate Baird ... :cuss:
