OK.
MCF,

HTML is now on and should work fine...

<a href="http://www.nightwolfgraphics.com">Nightwolf Graphics</a>

...and UBB takes a little getting used to. I kept slipping back into HTML when I first started...so just keep a close eye on the tags.

Now the serious issue is the editting...
which browser are you using and who is your ISP?

What EXACLTY do you get when you try to click on the edit icon?

Kyle,

I'm used to UBB, been using it on the Raven's board for about a year now (Hell, I live in Maryland, I have to be able to talk football to someone and it ain't gonna be the Redskins).

I'm not sure what the prob is. I tried to set up a A HREF link in my signature block but neither UBB nor HTML seemed to work so I just deleted it.

I'm using IE 5.0.
My ISP is Compuserve.com

When I go to edit, I get sent to a blank page that merely says, "Hop to the Chiefs BB" with the little button that says GO.

I'll try to edit this message and see what happens... http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb//frown.gif

That's where it's telling me my password in incorrect. It'll accept my password to post a new message but not to edit one.

Post again and see if your sig is fixed...
The sig can only be done in UBB.

Mi_Chief_Fan,

Thanks! We're still working on it. We've been meaning to redo that front page and I've got quite a bit more art to add, eventually.

But the good wishes are MUCH appreciated.

I thought you were a historian? Or does someone on the other board use the same name as you.

After you click on the edit icon, what url does it take you to?

Please paste it in your reply.

Thanks.

AustinChief, I tried to make a signature line but it didn't take. I initially didn't have one at all and tried to add one. Can you give me some insight as to how to fix this?

AustinChief
08-22-2000, 06:23 PM
Just click on 'profile' and change the signature. After you submit the new siganture, when you post be certain to checkmark the box to add your sig.

Kyle - I tinkered with your post so that I don't have to scroll to read the screen. I hope this is alright?

I put a hard break between "....forum=" and "Chiefs+Planet..." and another between "...TopicSubject=" and "What...."

Or does it immediately give you the password error?

No, it took me to the editing page, but as soon as I hit submit reply, it went to the error page. <sigh>

Russ that is too sweet. I got rid of my ferrets two years ago when I got divorced. My boston terrier has really filled the void though.

This one is really crafty. Havana is a Chiefs Corn Snake.... I feed her little broncos....

AustinChief

Hmmm...in my experience my ferrets were TOO smart, for their own good and mine...

They were always getting into stuff, and when they decided they wanted something, they found a way to get it.

Are they obedient? I wouldn't think so, but...

AustinChief
08-22-2000, 09:50 PM
htismaqe - Oh, I agree.... but as far as training..... well, let's say that I have had more than my share of animals in my lifetime and he, nor his sister, ever did much in the way of fetch and roll over.....

However, I have finally got him to follow me on his leash.... It took about 7 months.

AustinChief
08-22-2000, 09:52 PM
Graeme - Obedient? no. Friendly and mischevious, definitely.

He simply loves attention. Morph was over once and he went nuts after his feet. Hmmm, maybe Morph has some rat in him????
