ESPN & the other mainstream sites should have the story. I'm glad she's being held accountable. Dunno what took so long but hopefully there will be a conviction. I liked Fred Lane - thought he was pretty talented.

Bob Dole heard it also on SportsCenter this morning. Authorities (whoever the hell they may be in this case) expect her to turn herself in today.

They didn't really have much else to say on the matter.

I didn't hear it before, but the article that I just read said that he had been shot in the chest and head. Usually when someone is shooting defensively the shots are not placed so well. Unless they are very good.

She's already turned herself in, Bob.

So noted.

(It was about 6:30am when Bob Dole heard the report...)

Wasn't there forensic evidence at the time, based on the number of shots and placement etc, that she had ambushed him when he walked through the door. This had made it look like pre-meditated murder.

I hope I'm not contributing to the spread of ugly rumours!

Sad state of society, my friends. http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/frown.gif

Remember when sport used to be an escape from the insanity of society at large?

What a shame..
