Cory,

I talked to Kyle late last night and he's still working on it. If you can, I would suggest that you might try IE. I know that sounds bad, but at a certain point, reality kicks in and it's time to realize that there's alot (40%) of proprietary content out there that only works with IE, and it's only gonna get worse.

In the meantime, I'm trying to help Kyle however I can.

Bob Dole is still saddened that UBB doesn't support the object tage.

Bob,

I believe that both HTML and UBB are now usable...

I'm using IE as we speak. Otherwise I would not be posting. Just sayin I don't like the MS assimilation, and will protest in any meek and feeble way that I possibly can. http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/smile.gif

Cory, I know what you mean. I've been doing network/system administration for ISPs since 1989, and Microsoft (or Cisco http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/biggrin.gif) has always been public enemy #1 to me.

The problem is that the only form of protest left is to not use the Web. It sucks, but it's simple.

I admire the Ghandi approach, but personally I'm not about to starve to death, when it won't make one **** bit of difference. For every one person out there like you that uses Netscape, there's 25 more that are converting to IE every day. There's nothing we can do about it, so I've resolved myself to just use it and deal with it.

On a good note, since I switched to using IE about a year ago, I don't have content-related problems anymore.

I am amazed but I am finding I like IE better than Netscape. One problem other than typing them all in does anyone know how I can transfer all my bookmarks? My Netscape occasionally locks up, that never happens with the IE which I am using for more and more of my brosing.

find bookmark.htm on your c: drive, logical. make it your default page. That's the quick, simple solution....

Jim: If you know where your bookmark file is, bookmark.htm, you can open it via IE and then add that .htm file to your favorites.

After you've done that you can go down the list and click on each one and add each one to your favorites.

At least, that's the easiest way I've found cause I didnt trust to IE to transfer them properly.
