We can't possibly welcome every single noob to the Planet, but when somebody comes in strong or has been invited by another regular, we like to start a special topic.

Welcome aboard! You appear to fit right in with the rest of the rogues already. Were you invited to the Planet by somebody from your area (we have several AZ members) or did you find it on your own?

I feel so honored. I'd like to thank Schlitz (The BEER that made Milwaukee famous) for contributing to my arrival. :)

I actually found out about the planet becuz of a columnist on kcchiefs.com.. hang on Jim Barnes (just looked it up). He mentioned it in one of his columns.

I was born & raised in Independence. Moved to AZ just under two years ago.

For ENDelt's benefit, the lurker tag goes away at 30 posts. With 100 posts, you're able to customize it.

Great. He goes by IdahoJim here. The Planet had over 100 new registrations due to that article. We're big fans of Jim. Prior to writing for KCChiefs.com, he was just another dumbass on the Planet.

Sounds like a great opportunity for your first topic. Michael Michigan is from PHX as is AZChief and Justin/Coolio Inglesias is from somewhere....

Another Zonie! Kewl.

Where will you be watching the Chiefs game this Sunday?

Iíve been going to the same sports bar in Tempe for four seasons now. They have a special area set aside for Chiefs fans, although attendence has dropped a bit in recent years. Still, we turn out ten or fifteen hardcore fans every week. Unless the game is on free TV, of course. Then I watch from the luxury skybox in my living room (cheaper drinks).

Anyway, unless you get a better offer, try The Derby Grill & Pub this Sunday. Itís at the SE corner of Rural and Guadalupe. The Chiefs section is way in the back, past the smoking patio. Look for me, Iíll be wearing Chiefs colors.

I don't live there, but I did visit family there this past summer. We were in the northern part of PHX, a short ditance from that ballpark in Peoria. The one where Seattle has spring training. We went to Tonapah for a wedding. That's some desolate country, out that way. We got a good laugh as we were driving down from Flag. One sign saying to watch out for falling rocks, another for elk, and another for runaway trucks. Hell, there wasn't any time left over to watch the road.

The most entertaining one of all was when after about a month or two as a poster... he only had 100 posts. At that point I told him he'd pass Phobia for all time leading poster like 100 years from now or something. From that point forward, he's averaged something around 328 posts per day... :)

You should have been here to see the drunks roll in last night... it was like 5 kcnuts hit the board all at the same time.
