View Full Version : AFC West bye weeks.......

Denver and Oakland have the inside track because they play creampuff schedules. The other AFC West teams need to keep them from a winning record within the division to even things out. But I do see a potential chink in the armor of the easy-schedule teams: the bye week advantage....

Seattle's bye week comes just before they host Denver. Gives the Walrus TWO WEEKS to prepare for Ratface. KC and SD both host Oakland after their bye weeks. If the coaches take advantage of the 2-week period to game-plan their division rivals, that will go a long way in evening out the strength of schedule mismatch.

Great post. This is important. The bye week lets you catch up. What week is ours in week four or Six? I also like that we can play a four or five games then get the buy.

Dang, Duck - I had you at 8-8. Now I need to move you to 6-10 and that screws up everything! http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/wink.gif

Hey, KC only needs a day or two to game-plan for Oak-town! http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/tongue.gif

Yeah yeah yeah, I know... you guys won the last one - but that was a case of negative posibilities! You know, when odds are so stacked against something that it actually happens!?

Hey, Luz. I scope it all out, the good and the bad.

Here's another trick - I always pick the Raiders to win the division. Take reason and paint it with a thick coat of homerism. Eventually, I'll be right, and then I can say, "I told you so!". This is the year - really!
