question about replay

why did they allow the refs to review that pass in the redskins and giants game? jeff george spiked the ball after that play and that counts as a play right? how are they able to review that?

If that's what happened then the refs were wrong. I don't remember seeing George spike the ball but I was also distracted by decorating for christmas.

he did spike the ball to stop the clock and then the refs got together to figure it out
