With the Summer olympiad only 1 week away, I was wondering what everyone's favorite US Olympic moment was Summer or Winter. Was it MJ blowing everyone off the track in '96? Mary Lou Retton's "10" in LA in '84? How about Dan Jansen in '94 winning his first, last and only gold in Lillehammer in dramatic fashion? Personally it comes down to the miracle on ice at Lake Placid in '80 and Jesse Owens destroying the field, including Hitler's favored Germans (Can't remember the name)in Berlin while the psycho looked on in smug silence.
