Ok, I said I'd let everyone know when I finally got the date set up and everything, so here it is: Tomorrow night, baby! I'm so excited!! Now it's on to step 2 of my "Convince TRich I'm the woman of his dreams" Plan. http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

10-09-2000, 09:23 AM
Outstanding! Have fun and tell him to stop by the BB for a few chats! http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/smile.gif

10-09-2000, 09:26 AM
Finally! Congrat and good luck, of course to win him over you might have to talk http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/smile.gif Let us know how it goes.

10-09-2000, 09:38 AM
Shannon, finally it happens...I wonder what Ms. Manners would say about converstion with a football player....

Is it appropriate to talk about football?....

Have fun... http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Shannon, have a great time!
Remember a few simple rules:
1. Show him how to do the bump'n'run
2. Don't forget to use your pass blocking
3. Teach him how to really avoid being tackled for a loss
4. Don't let him find the end zone...

Good luck and have a super time!
10-09-2000, 09:48 AM
Whooo hooo
You go girl!
Have fun.

Now how do I get hooked up with Anna Kornakova?
10-09-2000, 09:50 AM

I'm sure you'll have a great time. Good luck, and try not to talk so much http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/smile.gif

(just kidding)

10-09-2000, 09:55 AM
Awesome. I hope you have a great time. Do you know where you are going??????????????

http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Pam

10-09-2000, 09:58 AM
Pam - We're going to dinner and a movie at the Cinemark Theatre on the Plaza. I think the movie is Almost Famous? I'm not too excited about seeing that movie, but since it'll be with Tony, I'm sure I'll manage!

JOhn - Thank you so so much http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/tongue.gif

10-09-2000, 10:01 AM

Cool. Is this a dress up event????

Knock his socks off. http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Daugher and I are both home sick, so I will be watching the board closely today... http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/smile.gif

10-09-2000, 10:01 AM
uh-oh... you might want to edit that post before small groups of BB emmbers end up lurking around the Cinemark tommorow night. Have a blast!

10-09-2000, 10:07 AM
Don't get me wrong ... it sounds cool. But, you're going out with someone famous, someone who obviously has a busy schedule and you're going to a 2 hour movie where you can't talk.

Not trying to spoil everything, but you might try somethin with a li'l more interaction.

10-09-2000, 10:11 AM
Pam - It's not a dress up thingy..I'll probably wear a skirt though.

Eric - lol, maybe I should. One of my friends jokingly told me this morning that she and her fiance should head down to the theatre tomorrow and "accidentally" run into me and Tony.

10-09-2000, 10:13 AM
Mile High - Trust me, I know. I'd change it if I could, but we have to do this, as it is what was agreed to ahead of time by the people in charge of the auction and the bachelors. So unfortunately, I don't have much of a choice. At least we'll have dinner to talk.

10-09-2000, 10:14 AM

Shannon, are you nervous? Just remember that you are sweet and nice!!! Make him treat you like a lady!

10-09-2000, 10:19 AM
Pam - I am nervous as hell. lol I was talking to a friend on the phone this morning and we were talking about it and I was all shaking and stuff. I'm such a baby! It's gonna be so much fun though..I can't wait!

10-09-2000, 10:24 AM

Tell TRich that you have a good friend in South Dakota that has him on his fantasy team and thinks he should be getting 25 carries per game.

Also tell him your friend couldn't get tickets to a Chiefs game this year (hint).

Address available upon request. Well, OK, only if it comes up during the conversation.

10-09-2000, 10:29 AM
lyons - If the conversation heads towards people up north that don't have tickets for the games and need points for their fantasy teams, I'll be sure to mention you!! http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

10-09-2000, 10:30 AM
Was hoping you realized I was joking. http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/smile.gif

It can wait until the second date to ask him.

10-09-2000, 10:31 AM
dont be nervous!!! Just try to remember that he's just a normal person. You should act around him the same way you would around any other guy. He'll appreciate that more. Just relax, and you'll have a whole lot more fun!

10-09-2000, 10:34 AM
Yea call him a wussy boy for letting Romanowski keep him from the end zone on that 2 point conversion.

Oh wait a minute, might not get a second date with that crack, never mind.

10-09-2000, 11:03 AM
RE: Further warnings along the lines of what JOhn and The Fly said....

Remember, although he can be penalized for the following:

1)Illegal use of the hands,
2)Illegal Forward Pass
3)Intentional Grounding(you'll have to think about that one)

You could be called for the following:

1)Delay of "Game"
2)Illegal Motion(Backfield in Motion)
3)"Pass" Interference
4)Lining Up in the Neutral Zone

Who wants to volunteer to wear a Zebra Shirt and follow them around and watch for the above "penalties"?

Knock, Knock..Who's there? Dewey..Dewey Who?

10-09-2000, 11:10 AM
Good luck --

What do you know about the criteria for "Woman of his dreams"?

10-09-2000, 11:23 AM
lyons - Thanks, I was thinking that was more of a second date convo myself.

2034 - Thanks! I know I just need to act like he's just a regular guy...that's tough though!

Mark - I'll be just fine without a ref, thank you very much http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Desert - Unfortunately, not much

10-09-2000, 11:31 AM
"You should act around him the same way you would around any other guy.

Probably not the best advice.

(Bob Dole is just kidding... Good luck.)

10-09-2000, 01:19 PM
Al I'm saying is this: Don't give him special treatment just because he's a football player. Cause when it comes down to it, he's a normal person just like everyone else. Just have fun.....

p.s.- Could you try to get some infor about Kevin Lockett for me??? Single??Kids???... Just kidding!

10-09-2000, 01:23 PM
If it was anyone but Smellyppl in question, Bob Dole would agree.

10-09-2000, 01:24 PM
sounds personal..

10-09-2000, 01:29 PM
Details! We demand juicy details! Make them up if you have to, but give us some juice.

We are living our lives vicariously through you, so you gotta produce.

looking for some excitement.
10-09-2000, 01:30 PM
BWAHAHAHAhaha...cough cough...hehe...hack cough...

Sorry Shannon. Bob Dole could not pass up the opportunity.

10-09-2000, 01:31 PM
gaz speaks for himself, I have NEVER entertained the thought of dating any Chief.

TRich must hate doing this kind of charity stunt.

10-09-2000, 01:34 PM
Gaz - Just for you, I'll give the juiciest details possible.

Bob Dole - I think you COULD have passed up the opportunity, but you CHOSE not to. haha but it's all good http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/tongue.gif

10-09-2000, 01:35 PM
2034 - Damn that Dante! http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

10-09-2000, 01:37 PM

If you're going to take advice from 2034, please ask for a disclaimer about how "NOT" to hurt his back..

just teasing http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/smile.gif

I went on a date(sorta) with a gal that was a Chief Cheerleader last year...does that count as a Chief? I hope he is smarter than she was..

10-09-2000, 01:43 PM
TR was real anxious to go on the date, wasn't he? I wasn't putting you down personally, but the fact that you're acting like this is a real date and not just an obligation of TR's is pretty dumb.

I'll be waiting for the fictitious "My sex with TRich" thread.

Duck Dog
10-09-2000, 01:50 PM
WHO P!SSED in your breakfast?

That last post was a little out of line. I for one, knowing Smp from the get togather, find that HIGHLY unlikely.

10-09-2000, 01:59 PM
Yeah, that went beyond friendly trash-talk.

knows a limit when he sees it broken.

10-09-2000, 01:59 PM
JOhn - I'm assuming that #40 has not happened in a long time.

Clint - I think everyone here knows why this date is happening, but it is good to see that you are still bitter.

10-09-2000, 01:59 PM
Clint - Do I really think this is like an actual date? Of course not. Do I really think anything is going to come out of this? Of course not. Am I excited about spending an evening with a Chiefs player? Hell yeah. And by all means correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure you would be also. The only I reason I posted this today is because people have asked about it since I originally won the date. And I'm certainly not going to be making anything up about the date, so I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for my "My sex with TRich" thread. Although, in your case, maybe I would recommend holding your breath. And until you know me, dont make assumptions as to what I'm thinking or believing.

10-09-2000, 02:03 PM
Guys, dont get down on Clint. He's under a little strain, I mean, look, the Chiefs are on a 3 game winning streak, EG is playing solid FB. You know it's got to be miserable watching the Chiefs and EG succeed like this.

10-09-2000, 02:03 PM
Wow...look at all the as*-kissing guys on this thread!

I simply stated that TR must hate performing these sort of stunts.

Then the incredibly clever, once-in-a-lifetime insult from "Smltheppl" followed.

If you don't like what I typed, too f-cking bad. Keep crying.

Duck Dog
10-09-2000, 02:07 PM
"I simply stated that TR must hate performing these sort of stunts"

Actually CLINT, unless you have some sort of inside info, what makes you think you have ANY clue as to what he likes or dislikes?

FYI from all accounts of TRich, he is a very upstanding, kind man. Who probebly enjoys things like this, as in making someone else happy.

10-09-2000, 02:09 PM
It was just my opinion. I never claimed to have any knowledge of the inner workings of Richardson's brain.

I feel sorry for the guy.

10-09-2000, 02:10 PM
To be clear, I am not a$$ kissing.

I just want tickets.

10-09-2000, 02:11 PM
Jesus, Clint. What the hell is your problem? You make a sarcastic comment and I returned it....I never said it was original. And I wasn't even upset over your first comment. I just returned it in the same way you would have. But then for some reason, you feel the need to keep going? Let's get this straight:

If you don't like what I typed in MY topic, then too f-cking bad for you. Don't read it. I'm definitly not the one crying.

Duck Dog
10-09-2000, 02:13 PM
As I stated, I have met Smp, and far from feeling sorry for TRich, he got very lucky. Both my wife and I found to her to be a very nice and personable young lady.

10-09-2000, 02:14 PM
Damn, I have to work for a change and it seems I miss all the fun...from a few of the posts I've read it looks like this one got a little juicy.... http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/eek.gif

Shannon, I don't care what anyone says, you have a good time, but like Gaz, I want to know all the juicy details too....oh yeah, and tickets on the 50 yard line for this week or next.... http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

10-09-2000, 02:17 PM
Good for you, John. I'm very happy for you.

You might wanna check for polyps while you're in there.

10-09-2000, 02:19 PM
If I may, I think it is wonderful that you get a chance to spend an evening with one of the Chiefs. I am not really sure why Clint is so upset at the Chiefs and thier players, I am sure he has been as hurt as we have all been throughout the seasons after so many letdowns. This is the only reason I can think of for his bitterness towards Grback even though he is performing so well. I personally am VERY proud of the whole team and would like the chance to hang out with any of them. Smith good luck and have fun... Clint, dude, relax we are all rooting for the same team here. I think you should step back for a moment and take a good long look at our team now. I know it's not perfect, but at least it is full of responsible, hard working, ethical players... and right now, we are winning! Soak it up man, it might not last forever.

Some times it takes a real man to admit there mistakes, but then again you wouldn't know about that huh?

OK Shannon- you're in trouble!! You didn't even mention this last week while we were tailgating! Maybe you found out this week (no-I haven't been 'lurking' much lately)
Have a great time! And yes, TRich is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet (met him last year) . Nice as he is though, he's the lucky one! you go girl!

Sorry Clint to burst your Bubble. But as I stated I have had the pleasure of meeting shannon, and think of her as a friend and fellow CHIEFS fan. And i will always defend a friend from needless insults. so if that is @ss kissing, then I guess I'm guilty!

(wondering if you would defend your friends?)

10-09-2000, 02:29 PM
Cathy - I'm sorry!! It wasn't official last week (I only found out this morning that it's actually going to be tomorrow). And after I'd waited so long, I hated to even bring up the topic until I knew for sure when the date was going to be. http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/smile.gif

Cathy - I had a great time tail-gating also! Thanks so much!! Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to go to the game on Sunday. http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/frown.gif Thank you though!

morph.. is that so????? you shouldnt have told me that...lol... naw.. i just think he's cute.. thats all... sheesh.. i'm only 20 years old, i'm not married, and ive only known dante for 7 months.. i'm allowed to look, as long as thats all i do. besides i'm QUITE sure he's doing some looking of his own in KC.

10-09-2000, 03:45 PM
