Looked at some DTs and OTs. Just didnt see any that I thought would impact as much as Kaeding.

Cripes, I was already thinking this was the 3rd. Agreed, he'd have a big first-year impact and the other positive is that a second-round kicker isn't going to have the salary cap hit in coming years that a second-rounder at another position would have.

I still would've liked to have had Tubbs at DT or Peters at TE or Smith at MLB, though. They might be cheaper by the pound.

Eh, maybe not Peters with a 2nd round. Maybe later for him.

I considered Tubbs heavily with both the Steelers pick and KCs. I'd love to see Tubbs and Sims side by side. Never really considered a TE, because I think Dunn will end up back.

I'm most looking forward to Kaedings kickoffs. Touchbacks would be a welcomed sight for a change.
