The Broncos don`t seem to have much of a problem moving the ball against the Rams.

I hope Gun is watching this game.

Yeah, Denver (God I hate to say it) looks great. Griese is making the old man proud tonight. I figured St. Louis would blow the Donx out, but this is anyone's game. Hopefully the Rams will prevail.

Don't look forward to us playing either of these teams. Future looking bleaker by the moment.

Looks like the Rams are getting hot now.

I feel better now. Always nice to see the hated Donx get the crap kicked out of them. As always, my favorite team is KC and whoever's playing Denver.

Plus, if the Rams hang on I'll have a great shot at winning the pool! Go Rams!

The Rams are blowing the donks out. God help us when we play them.

wow a pass caught on third down........wish we had a reciever who could catch

I wonder if both defenses are this bad or if the offenses are this good. Wow.

Look for another Rams touchdown in the time it takes me to finish my cigarette.

Warner may throw for 500 yards tonight...

09-04-2000, 09:33 PM
Hell, he might throw for 1000.

Do the Raiders play the Rams this year?

09-04-2000, 09:39 PM

Nope! Thank God.

The Rams have an easy schedule. Only Washington and Tampa look tough, and the Rams don't see them till the end of the year.

We may have spoke too soon - those Evil Bastard Broncos are making some noise. What an utter lack of defense.

Well, jq, if the Rams hang on the Raiders will be the only team in the division with a win. Who'd have thunk it. From the looks of things, its going to be a race between Oakland and Denver. In that case, go Oakland. As much as I hate saying that, I'd root for a team of child molesters coached by Hitler over the Broncos.

And Denver takes the lead. I'm gonna be ill....

Well, well, well. The Donks have taken the friggin lead!

Fun game though.....Joe

This game tells me that both teams defenses are giving up the big play one after another.

09-04-2000, 10:02 PM
We have the sound down and the radio on (because Matt Millen tells it like it is!) and now that idiot Boomer Esiason is part of the team and irritating as hell!

What crappy defense.

09-04-2000, 10:06 PM
jq - It is a conspiracy, they read what people were doing and decided that it was better to stick someone that everyone already found annoying on the radio so people wouldn't have a choice.

Donx lose! Outstanding!

I only lost 13 points on the weekly pool. Hope there aren't any sharks at the new office.

Man, Griese actually looked good. Warner had a lot of yards, but looked bad IMO. At least two of his interceptions were thrown into excellent coverage. Wilson can cover! He blanketed Faulk on one of them. St Louis seemed to lack pass rush until the 4th quarter. Damn I wish for once i could see this type of offense from the Chiefs. Denver does look like the frontrunner for the division. They deserve the credit.

09-04-2000, 10:17 PM
Griese looks like the real thing. The Broncos should be the favorite to win the west!

Sure wish Grbac had his savvy and poise!

I watched every team in the AFC West this weekend, and the Donx looked head and shoulders above the rest. With the 5th place schedule, they may walk to the playoffs. Griese looked great, and forget their defense, they were playing the Rams. The AFC West could assemble and all star team, and it would not be as good as the Rams.

Like I said on the other post... Denver really surprised me and I'm looking forward to the rest of the season.

They need a #3 WR so badly.... I think they would have won, had they resigned Sharpe.

Griese played great!!!

Yeah, the the Donx TE's did not get it done tonight, but they really won't have to because the Donx can outscore most everyone without big contributions ifrom their TE's in the passing game.

True that!

This game was like watching those 162 -155 Paul Westhead basketball games... no defense and poor tackling... fun to watch but I'd rather not see my team play like this... i guess I'm old school...

After seeing the Denver - Rams game tonight, I'm thinking the Chiefs will end up 1-4 before their bye... damn...
