View Full Version : Dante Hall/Mike Cloud

I think that Mike Cloud did an okay job returning the kicks today, but when Dante Hall has fully recovered from his back injury, does anyone think that he will be able to do the job better?

I sure as hell hope so. Cloud was not good today, IMO. He seemed to run into his tacklers and fall down.
Hall's main challenge will be staying healthy.
i like hall...

I think Cloud was good on punt coverage teams, however. One play (the one which we had the two penalties on) he dove to block the punt, then ran all the way back and blocked a potential tackler. It impressed me. His returning did not.

Cloud IS NOT our return man. He is too low and falls down way too easy. Give me a 5' 9" sub 4.3 40 return man anyday.

There was one play(i cannot remember when in the game), that cloud was returning a kick, and i thought it was clear that he should have decided not to run with it and he should have knelt down in the end zone. But he didnt and decided to go for it anyway...I just thought he completely made the wrong choice to run with it, because it was obvious that there was no way he was going to make it to the 20 yd. line.

Hall should return kicks. Cloud is worse kick returner than he is a running back. He should be our 3rd down back. Still, I NEVER liked drafting him in round 2.

HEY!!!!! I didn't say anything about Dante, I was simply saying that I thought Mike Cloud made a bad decision on that play. If he's in the end zone and does not think he can make it to the 20 yd line, he should kneel down....right? And It was obvious he should have done that.. If it was Dante, I would have said the same thing... So there G_Man!!!! http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/smile.gif
