Who said this guy can't get the long TD run?

Yep he got 80yrds on one carry. At the half he had 9yrds on the remaining 7 carries. That's a 1.3 yrd average.
Yep he's worth a 1st & 3rd and a ton of sal cap.

Rereading my post...I am still unable to find the part where I said I would want to give up a 1st and 3rd for him...would you please point that part out to me?

Never said you did AP. That comment was aimed at the 'get him no matter what it costs' crowd.
I won't replow my stance on the guy, it's well known, but consider that giving up the 1st and 3rd and the cap money would mean not having: Morris, Wesley, and probably Shields.
I'd take those three any day.

Would I like to see Dillon in our backfield? Yes I would. Would I give a 1st and 3rd? No. A 1st? No. Only a 2nd or lower...the Rams got Marshall Faulk for only a 4th rounder...wonder why we couldn't get in on some of that.

Actually AP it was a 2nd and 5th for Faulk. At one point I would've gritted my teeth and welcomed Dillon for the same. Now after his latest thug eruption you couldn't give him to me.
Develop what he have or draft something better. I'm tired of other people's castoff, has-beens, or problem children.
