We're doomed.

The entire offense will go out with a pulled groin. The defense will remain intact. Arrowhead will burn to the ground. Doomed I tell you.

Actually, the current SI does NOT have KC on the cover.

That was last week's, and Tom Brady is on the cover. The Chiefs, Colts, Seahawks and some other team I can't remember are just mentioned as "Four Teams to Fear."

But thanks for playing.

I bought the SI at the Airport Wednesday. I guess I presumed that it was this weeks (typically the Airport stores are current).

Regardless of when it was, they were one of four Teams "to fear". New England was the other.

Three of four teams to fear are in the AFC. What happened to the NFC?

The best stories aren't very scary.

The Panthers are in the NFC.

Two teams from each conference.

I like that it is the Super Bowl participatants from last year plus us and the 'Hawks. I still think there is an excellent chance that it will come down to the Chiefs/Seahawks in Jacksonville in February.

Yeah, I had a brain fart!! I was baseing my comment on Mark M's comment:

Should have known better.

Actually, you should've read the date on the cover first. :p

What the matter, Tom? Meds run out?

Didn't have the cover to read at the time I posted. Besides, it isn't important as to the date, the statement was what I wanted up.

Neither did I.

And is probably the only thing you're getting up.

This is what SI.com is showing as the cover for 09/13/04:

Looks like the SI Jinx did nothing to The Patriots. The Panthers play on MON, 09/13/04. The new cover comes out before that game. I guess it's up to either The Seahawks or The Chiefs to keep The Jinx alive.
