What is the problem with the Big 12 North this weekend?!?!

I mean 1st MU loses to Troy
K-State loses to Fresno St
Neb loses to Southern Miss ?!?!?

I mean the north could come up with a goose egg this weekend!!

The only given loss I figured the North would get this week was Iowa St losing to Iowa. And the Cyclones played the tightest game.

I knew the north would be a little down this year, but has it really gotten that soft? What do you guys think? Is the Big 12 setting themselves up with too many trap games with the smaller conferences?

I'd have to say i'm most surpised by ISU hanging with Iowa, and then Nebraska losing to Southern Miss.

To the chin? Only off by about 18 inches.

My alma mater, University of North Texas was trashed by Texas 68-0 or so. They play every year, in Texas, for the money share of the game.

The Southern Miss and Fresno State results really weren't too surprising, IMHO. Though I did think K-State would win that one.

I wasn't shocked KState lost, but shocked with how handily FSU won the game. I was at the game, and the score was entirely indicative of how poorly KSU played and how well FSU played.

Yeah. I thought it would be close either way. Fresno State just took them behind the woodshed.

Nobody here, that follows the teams, was surprised.

Both teams have very good defenses. Both teams have very young, inexperienced offenses.

The game played out exactly like most people around here thought it would.

What did you expect? It was 9/11 after all. A date which will live in infamy.

Thanks. I don't follow Iowanian football too much. ISU has been piss poor for sometime now, so I thought they would just get blown out.
