Carl? I think Bracey was playing for us in the Jack Steadman era. Is this his 30th year in the league?

Bracey Walker.... did he ever even make the gameday active roster?

Yeah. Me too. I just don't remember him doing anything other than Special Teams.

Bracey didn't play much. He did miss his blocking assignment in a MNF game vs the Steelers which led to a punt block (can't remember if it was a Steeler TD or a safety)
Marty released him the next day.

He has been kicked around the league several times so we are not alone in sending him packing but I do remember drafting him and thinking it was a hell of a pick....At UNC he was a big play maker. Blocking punts and kicks, INT's, returns for TD's....he made a lot of big plays and thought he was a hell of a late round pick unfortunately it didn't quite play out well.

Wrong guy man. The guy who missed the blocking assignment was backup safety Melvin Johnson. I remember it vividly. Louie Aguiar's punt was blocked in the endzone and recovered for a TD. It was Louie's first career blocked punt and Johnson was indeed released the next day.
Bracy Walker was with us as recently as Gunther's last year and I think was let go when the Vermiel regime began.

And I believe Bracy did block a punt for us while he was here.
