That 22 yard loss was the single worst play I have seen in a long, long time.

The problem was that he was turned around facing away from the line and they kept him running.

I guess he should have fallen down sooner, but my question is... can he keep running backwards and throw the ball out of bounds at the sideline (and behind him)?

Or is he still considered "in the pocket" no matter how far backwards he runs?

If he gets outside the tackles, he throw the ball away. He should have sprinted laterally, like Plummer just did.

I'm still trying to figure out why he tried to make more of the play.

If he throws it to anyone else, it's illegal man down field on the O-line
