In a biography of Priest Holmes. Supposedly, there was an Anthony Holmes that played for UT, and when Priest got there, or vice versa, Priest changed his name so the other Anthony could be exclusive.

On like TV or something?

Is Priest his middle name or something? I remember in 2001 reading an article about him on kcchiefs.com talking about the name Priest. Something about his Mom wouldn't tell him the full story behind the name. She wanted to him to go talk to some people in the family about it.

Holy shit dude, I know, I played it on the Xbox. I literally couldn't stop playing. That's a top 5 in my book easily. I only played it once since it was rented and I spent 1 and 1/2 weeks to beat it. I absolutelly loved it and I'm not even a fan of SW. Never played Freelancer though.

I've played pretty much every variation and combination of character classes there is. I'll burn out after a while but then start again after a month or so. I like this game so much that it's basically ruined me for playing other games (except Freelancer).

Freelancer is a space-based mercenary game that starts out following a story line but then offers open-ended play after that. It has the best combat interface I've ever used, and is totally cool. You really should check it out. I hope they come out with a sequel to it as well.

You turn to the darkside, steal evil Bastila back from Darth Bane, kill Bane, she controls the Sith fleet and destroys the republic fleet, game ovah.

Oh and of course you off Bane along the way. It's quite fun using force drain on his "life batteries" at the end.

Yes. The only problem with that is if you use him as an accompanying party member on the Star Forge, he turns on you and you have to kill him. Which leaves you with only one supporting character and no way to get another one off the Ebon Hawk. That sucks.

Also, I guess you played on a version of the game other than PC. In the PC game, the bad guy is Darth Malak, not Darth Bane. Interesting difference.

BTW, after playing through this numerous times, my favorite combination is scout/consular, emphasizing dual pistols in ranged attacks over melee combat with swords/lightsabers. The scout gains the benefit of free implant upgrades, repair skills that enable you to enhance the skills of HK-47 (the assassin droid, who is extremely tough and useful in the later stages of the game), and get extra force powers and points that come with the consular class. I like playing with HK-47 because he's lots of fun and really twisted, plus one of the addiditional skills he gets is regeneration. Using HK-47 to back you up on ranged attacks while Canderous does hand-to-hand fighting is the best combination, since they are both very tough and regenerate hit points.

However, if you go rogue/consular, you get the benefit of quadruple damage on immobilized opponents, so a rogue/consular can use force powers to freeze opponents and then shoot them to shreds nearly instantly. If you do this, though, don't bother with HK-47 - he's just a needless cash/resource hog and is not necessary for the story.

Playing a fighter/guardian sucks, BTW. It should only be used by beginners. If this is all you've done, you're really missing out.

For the scout/rogue, do not waste any points on strength - instead increase everything else, especially dexterity, intelligence and wisdom. You only have to use a sword once in combat (that's dueling Marl on Taris), and for that, just use a strength enhancing stimulant. Even Dark Malak is easily slaughtered with ranged weapons after all his life-force captives are greased.

For your ranged weapons - buy Cassus Fett's pistol from the Rodian in the middle of the hallway on Korriban - that's the best pistol you can buy. Before that, go with the Mandolorian heavy pistols. Also, after you kill Admiral Karrath, take his Sith assasin pistol, which is the best available in the game.

And make sure you buy your equipment from the Rodian on the space station - he has some of the best stuff for sale that you can get, and you can get it fairly early in the game. And play that dumbass black jack game with him - if you beat him 10 hands in a row (which takes a while - save after every win) he'll give you a break on prices, which is important because his stuff is expensive. Also, keep going back - eventually you'll save him from some criminal thugs, and then he'll open up his "special items" for sale. These include light saber crystals that totally ramp up the power.

You can use jedi power to gain extra attacks (knight and master speed) and heighten your base attributes (knight and mastor valor). Using these powers with Cassus Fett's heavy pistol and Admiral Karrath's assasin pistol, you can drop a rancor in a single attack round by yourself.

Yes.

You should also get the strategy guide. It will help alot.

Or you could just use the internet. :D

Oh yeah, you are not. You are even past that... Yeah.. I'm 30. It's all part of my quest to be as cool as Gaz.

I'd never seen an episode... bought season 1 on a whim, because I'd heard Gaz talk about it here... It was ok, but not great. I'm half-way through season 2, and it's getting much better.. I'm officially a fan now. I'm just a year or 5 too late.
