He appeared Ok and on TV they said that he told someone that he was alright so why wasnt he in the game when we went for it that last time on 4th down??? Did the coaches give up too?? Embarrassing...

His last carry it looked like he tweaked his left knee. I'm sure that's why he wasn't in there at the end. It looked kind of awkward, hope he's alright.

There's no doubt in my mind Priest's left leg was hurting. It was similar to the play Kris Wilson was injured....

If Priest goes down we ARE done without a doubt...no WR's AND no RB? dead meat. Hoping for the best right now and if Priest is hurt....can anyone say "with the first pick in the 2005 draft the Kansas City CHiefs select..."?

God knows he should be. He got bent over backwards. It was ugly.

Hopefully he's okay.

Vermeil said post-game that priest said he was fine... still he didnt say why they went with blaylock

If Priest is hurt things are going to be extremely difficult. Our offense is just not getting it done. WTF is up with Priest only getting 16 rushing attempts?

It sure appeared to me he was injured, being he wasn't in late in the game.......As far as 16 carries, Al Saunder is a fool..........

To be honest NOBODY at this point would know for sure how "hurt" Priest really is and IF Vermeil knew I dont think he would say so just yet. I already picked up Blaylock just in case for my fantasy team.

C'mon now, you know CP would just F*CK it up. And if he did manage to pick someone who could help, he probably would not get him signed until the 1st or 2nd game of the season, and then it would be too late for him to help.

I was watching Priest through my binoculars at the time of the injury. His foot was planeted on the ground and he was dragged back with his foot still behind him completely wreching the kness. If he is alright it will be a miracle. Every time you see that happen it's a torn acl. fingers crossed...

While I was at the bar watching the game this guy kept pimping a trade involving Larry Johnson for Patrick Surtain? He kept asking if I would be for that? I told him no because we may end up needing Johnson.

I really hope Priest is ok! :grovel:

If I'm Vermeil, seeing how the O had played all game, 4 minutes left, and needing two TD's... I sit Priest, too.

They showed a shot of the Chief bench during the game and I saw Johnson sitting there. He was just sitting there by himself. Looked kind of odd...although maybe he was just kicking back. Seems like a reserve would be more up and involved with his teammates.

Anyone else notice that?

Priest better not be hurt. We've lost enough favor from the injury goddess this year already....

what pissed me off was the shot of Damon Huard sittin on the bench listenening to a god damn mp3 player.earphones still on.i know hes a 3rd stringer but, geez.if hes just gonna hang out why not have a qbotf to just hang out.

Seriously? You would think that would be a major fine.

Don't get me started on this one. Its clear DV does not want to take the time to develop one. The fact the only one he's brought in was undrafted tells me this team does not want to invest.

yeah, after trent has the fumble they show the bench first LJ and then they show the O starting to sit and there he is under the big fan listening to his tunes.all that was missing was a fugggin lime and a corona.

:) Best job in football has got to be 3rd string QB. Does not get much better than that.

I highly doubt Huard was listening to "music" through those headphones. He was probably listening to Al calling the plays into Trent's helmet.

Yes, that would be my guess. I remember QBs on the bench holding their helmets up to their ear to listen in the past. You do not see that anymore so they probably are wired up and able to listen without the helmet.
