Today in Kerry says:

"The President claims [Iraq] is the centerpiece of his war on terror. In fact, Iraq was a profound diversion from that war and the battle against our greatest enemy, Osama bin Laden and the terrorists. Invading Iraq has created a crisis of historic proportions,"

Last week, however, Kerry said:

"More than 1,000 of America's sons and daughters have now given their lives on behalf of their country, on behalf of freedom in the war on terror."

No problem. Shoot, I'll do it...

Senator Kerry's remarks last week about Iraq being part of the WoT were taken out of context.

Show me where the lack of context is Kerry Campaign People:

"More than 1,000 of America's sons and daughters have now given their lives on behalf of their country, on behalf of freedom in the war on terror."

I'm listening to Kerry's speech now...he is a persuasive speaker but his past positions unfortunately contradict his new position on Iraq. Even if he is able to talk past that inconsistency he STILL is not offering a plan that leads to success. He's talking about how Bush misled and how Iraq wasn't a threat and how getting Saddam wasn't worth it and how North Korea and Iran should have been dealt with instead of Iraq and how Afghanistan is spiraling into chaos (on the way to elections next month) - all fine debates to have, but I still haven't heard him mention how he's going to win the war on terror...

Stop questioning John Kerry's patriotism. He fought in Vietnam.
