I caught some yo-yo calling into the Sporting News Radio show tonight saying that Priest Holmes is going to miss 2 months of game time.

Has anyone else heard this?

Latest from Vermeil is that Holmes is doubtful (but not out) for this Sunday with an ankle sprain. It won't be two months.

By the way, welcome to Chiefsplanet!

I just now caught wind of the ankle sprain. Sounds like Priest is may be out on Sunday (Vermeil tends to sugarcoat things), but no way in hell 2 months. If thats true, we are screwed for the season!

No problem...Just ask DV...They'll just run a whole lot of plays that they don't need him in...

This is like the complete opposite of last year, when EVERYTHING went our way. This year, however, it seems that every possible nightmare we could imagine last year is turning into reality now.

The Football Gods must no longer be smiling upon us. Must be punishment for throwing away the season they gave us last year.

Well, we do have a number 1 draft pick sitting on the bench waiting to make his splash.

Screw it. Put his azz in and see what he could do!! At this point, we need a spark. Maybe ol LJ can pull it off...

So true! The chances are slim enough for a team to return as good the previous season yet make a superbowl appearance. The clock is ticking. Nobody can forsee injuries, but there were several things Carl and Co. could have done to prevent the other problems. Instead, they sit on a huge pot of money a resign the same players that were mediocre at best in a 13-3 season. :shake:

I agree. Either play him ,or trade him for a LB or WR. :shake: Watching him sun himself on the bench is starting to tick me off.

Oh, I dunno. Going from SB to 2nd team to draft is quite the unforgettable feat.

When did he bellyflop? This is the guys second year, and he looked decent in pre-season. Blaylock looked good as well and stepped up pretty good last year late in games. If Priest is out, obviously they need to activate both of them, and let them both carry the ball. Not a RBBC, but let Blaylock run with it unless he gets to be uneffective, then throw in LJ. Let the competition boost their play.

Let LJ play and let's see what he's got.

Get a good lead on Texans and let him go.

Who gives a shit about the Raiders? Why do you post shit like that on this board? Aren't you satisfied that everyone on this board hates you? Get the hell out of here. Go back to your own board you stupid c*nt.

Since this thread is about player injuries I guess I'll go ahead and inform you all that Trevor Pryce, the Broncos best defensive lineman is injured and will miss six weeks.

Wow... that was a quick hook. At this rate, just about any Skip post could put a thread in the Romper Room.
