Surprised this show isn't getting more praise. The season finale was pretty fantastic and the season overall was good as well. I'm excited for next season.

I'm falling down a spiral, destination unknown A double-crossed messenger, all alone I can't get no connection, can't get through, where are you Well the night weighs heavy on his guilty mind This far from the borderline And when the hit man comes He knows damn well he has been cheated This show uses music like no other When the Bullet hits the Bone - has there been a more universally unambiguous tag to a song? GE's other big hit, what a ****ing underrated band <iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/Zf53Pg2AkdY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
Look, I don't expect you to understand this, he was willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good.
Oofah!!! |

This season is going to be good. I'm surprised they managed to keep Nina's character in the story line (happy about it though because that bitch is fine). |

OK, it's been a week and I don't think I've gone an hour yet without Only You going through my head.
This show has a preternatural ability to pick out the very best music of the period, almost makes me want to travel back to there. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/LIiyT67Sjbg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Best music moment since I commented on it last season. So who breaks down first, Phillip or Elizabeth?

Quote:
Elizabeth would kill Paige with her bare hands and fold her up in plastic if the mission called for it. She'd probably do the same to Phillip if need be. |

I also think Phillip would kill her in a heartbeat if Elizabeth broaches the spy subject before he feels she is ready to at least have the conversation. |
Quote:
I see Elizabeth as a spy who happens to have kids. I see Phillip much more ambivalent in each camp inside the home, though he is resolutely a spy outside the home. |

Both Phillip and Elizabeth are great spies. The question is when does the home life boil over and prevent them from being good spies (for me at least). Or when does Phillip decide to embrace the "easy American" life with his kids and defect. |
Just binge-watched from about ep 5 of season 2 to last week's episode. Holy crap a lot happened.

Every week, this show manages to bring out strong emotion with me. It's amazing how long they can keep you focused on their roles as a 'typical suburban family' then blindside you again and again with what ruthless brutal spies they actually are. pedophilia, assassination, body dumps, and that's just how they deal with strangers. |
