They found that over four-year spans, those who ate an extra serving of French fries daily gained an average of 3.4 pounds, those who munched an extra serving of potato chips daily gained an average of 1.7 pounds, and an additional serving of potatoes prepared in any form was linked to an average of 1.3 pounds of extra padding. Hmmm, not so great news.

You mean eating french fries and chips and loading your baked potato with butter and sour cream causes people to gain weight? Shocking!

We as Americans eat too much starch.

Potatoes, bread, pasta, etc.

Processed foods, not good.

But I love them all.

Some of the Europeans eat some of the fattiest food ever, (French) but don't gain weight because they don't eat the processed shit.

I don't think the common European diet contains Slim Jims, Bacon Flavored Crackers, Luncheon Meat, American Cheese, Tortilla Chips, yadda yadda yadda.

Eat fresh food everyday and you will be more satisfied and lose weight.

But we're Americans and with a McDonalds on every corner and a Starbucks it's almost impossible.

I'm not going to give up all meat, but maybe I'll try this too. For the next month, I'm going to give up antelope and yak meat.

Don't give up Alpaca during the time you're planning to visit Peru. ;)

I eat lots of salads and usually eat once a day. I weigh less now than when I went to basic.

Oil is good. It lubricates your joints.

So, I haven't gone grocery shopping for this yet, and I didn't have long to be home during lunch, so I cut off a few pieces of leftover rotisserie chicken (without skin) and grabbed a mango Chobani (which I'm eating right now).

BTW i never understood why people don't consider chicken or fish as meat.

it's the flesh of an animal - ITS MEAT

I was just saying that I don't understand that classification system.
