You know that scene in Ghost where the guy who had Patrick Swayze killed (oops spoiler) is trying to find the missing money in the bank account, and he's going from computer to computer, and he's all sweaty and panicked.

That's Schefter.

Schefter is coming across like the boyfriend who got dumped, who is standing outside the ex's house screaming "you told me you weren't talking to ANYONE ELSE," while she's getting plowed in her bedroom by some other dude.

Now THERE'S a visual........

So far, Schefter hasn't backed down, but ESPN has backed away from their story from "close to a deal" to "Chiefs targetting Shanahan."

Take from it what you will...

Keep holding onto that hope... inside you know that Schefter's crying in his Wheaties over this one because he got scooped and that the rat is coming to KC.

That's kind of sweet. Of course, he's not a Bronco any longer. He's going to be a Chief.

Make no mistake... Shanahan will always be a Bronco.

If it takes a Denver Broncos coaching icon to turn your organization around, I say go for it. I support it.

It was. Buildings don't just fall down by being in close proximity to another that fell down...

If that's what you took from those facts, then run with it.

Even when he's the HC of the Kansas City Chiefs? He'll be wearing Broncos underwear under his Chiefs garb when he arrives at Invesco to play the Broncos?
