I still think we're on the fast track to building a team with a ceiling of 10 wins and a first round playoff exit. Or as Chief fans call it, utopia.

You going to training camp next year? We're gonna get drunk before practice and hurl fat jokes at Charlie.

None of the above are reporting this. Surely it would get some mention if it were done right?

It's the Chiefs. Nobody reports anything they do unless they need a filler in their news.:(

Mr. Laz 01-06-2010 06:01 PM

i think the hiring of Weis could allow the Chiefs to select clausen and get away with it.

that said, i doubt clausen drops to 5th ... but if he does the Chiefs just say "When a talent drops to you sometimes you take a player you don't necessarily look at as a primary need. The fact that we have a coach that is very familiar with the talent makes the selection even easier"

I go to St. Joseph two times per year.

Once, to celebrate birthdays on my wife's dad's side of the family w/ her grandparents, and once to do her dad's side of the family Christmas.

You couldn't draw me into that shit hole with a ****ing tractor beam otherwise.

Yes, it's the Chiefs, but it also indirectly involves Notre Dame and the Patriots so if it were "official" everyone would be reporting it.

If Berry's off the board, I think you have to go Spiller or Clausen, assuming either are still there.

Clausen could certainly fall to #5, particularly now that he's going to need surgery and won't be able to throw for teams until April(best case scenario).

'Hamas' Jenkins 01-06-2010 06:04 PM

To be honest, the Rams would probably be best served in the short term (and maybe even the long term) by signing Jason Campbell in FA and drafting Suh. Campbell gets a lot of shit, but he's actually not a bad player.

blazzin311 01-06-2010 06:04 PM

Well, I for one am okay with this hire. On a side note, does anyone think this hire might improve the chances of the Chiefs drafting Golden Tate somewhere to use as a percy harvin/ or perhaps welker type/ slot WR?

nychief 01-06-2010 06:04 PM

Golden Tate, please.
