Cassel is still a young, inexperienced QB, and Weis is a great coordinator for young QBs. Weis, more than anyone else, was the coach who made young Brady who he was.

As for the playmakers/lines, it goes both ways. I'm not advocating spending another 1st round pick on a lineman, as I agree that this team (specifically, the defense) needs as many playmakers as possible. That being said, if we had Harvin, it would be tough to let him make plays with the way our OL pass-blocked for him during the first 12ish weeks of the year. I think our LT is set and that's the only OL position worth a first round pick. If we take a defensive playmaker or a WR at 5, I'm fine with it. Any of our line needs can be filled in rounds 2-7 and free agency. |

WHAT? |
I want 2 starting OL, including a Center, out of free agency more than you could imagine.
Then we could draft RT, WR, and ILB. |

You're being patronizing, but I'll bite. Okay, Chris Johnson, where is his playoff spot? Matt Schaub this year was great, 4500 yards and almost a 100 QB rating...nothing. Andre Johnson or Steve Smith (Giants)? Gotta have both. |

The Titans nearly won out when Vince Young replaced Collins. Last I checked, Young was a QB. The Texans started out really slow, nearly as slow as the Titans. They have a top flight offense and the Defensive Player of Year on defense. Personally, I think Kubiak should be fired. Fisher gets a pass, but for not much longer. And for the record, you proved my point. A top five offensive tackle wouldn't have made a damn bit of difference for either team. |

Please Cassel is going to be 28 when next year starts, let's not act like he's Mark Sanchez or something in that area.
Cassel is the same age Roethlisberger is ok, that's where he's at, the he's young excuse isn't playable. |
