Happened all the time between me and my wife (who is about 5 years younger than me) when we were dating, but it's really not a big deal. We started dating when I was 23 and she was 18.

Overall, not a big deal.

I have a friend who started dating his wife when he was a freshman in college. She was in 8th grade. It's only 5 years difference, but that's 5 years at the wrong point in life.

My wife is 5 years younger than me but we started dating when she was 24.
