Rupe had a great game. He should not have had to be out there as long as he was. He got the ground ball for the DP that was needed. Got another. Then struck out Thome with bases loaded. You can't ask for more than that.

I would also live with Tejeda going out there. Just keep Cruz, Farnsworth, and Mendoza out when you have a lead or are tied.

He spends the MLB season playing baseball all the time with people that speak Spanish. He spends the Dominican Winter League season playing baseball all the time with people that speak Spanish. Dude may live in America for most of the year but then it is very easy to live in America and not have to speak any English.
