It's a good thing that Herm didn't feel that way.

Too bad Haley doesn't. Not like we couldn't use 1000 yard WR with 8 TD's.

Who's available? I'm all for bringing in that guy.

Timely penalty?

Albert didn't hold at all on that play.

That was one of the biggest BS calls I had ever seen. And the phantom PI on Arenas.

"What? Manning missed? Had to have been PI....throw the flag.."

Two words: Franchise. Quarterback.

Your WR's always look like money when your QB is a future HOF'r

I feel for Cassel in this scenario. He made the throw he needed to make to give us the lead. Then on the very next play he made the throw he needed to make to get us close to continuing that drive. Bowe dropped them both.

This is partly why Haley always harps about us not having any margin for error. You only get so many opportunities to make those big plays.

Christofire 10-11-2010 10:23 AM

Note: I am not apologizing for Cassel. He needs to sack up and make the next big throw, even after being let down twice in a row. So far, he hasn't shown the ability to do that, and that's on him.

ToxSocks 10-11-2010 10:29 AM

Well, Cassel will have his chances this Sunday with the Texans. I'm sure the Chiefs will game plan to attack the Texan's secondary like every other team has. Cassel and Bowe will have an opportunity to redeem themselves.

You are a moron.

You run at pass rushers. The get upfield and you can get the running back by them easily. It's why we run Charles a lot to the left. It's not because Albert is drive blocking his guy down the field, it's because the guy got by Albert so ****ing fast that there isn't a guy there when the running back heads in that direction - the dude is already on top of the qb.

Gawdamn, your vagina must be swollen to the size of Russell Okung's head. Did Branden Albert make you feed him grapes while he was banging your woman?

we need 2 new WRs next year...probably 1 FA and 1 draft

Pioli screwed the pooch by not picking Austin Collie in the fourth round of the 2009 draft. He can make amends by picking another Austin in 2011. The guy has the best hands of any receiver in the next draft and finds the end zone.

Yeah, but Collie was an utter stud in college. By his junior year, he held nearly every receiving record at BYU and a number of NCAA records. Soft hands, precise route running, fast, etc. Give a guy like Manning a receiver like that and shit just tends to happen. Chiefs could have had him in the fourth as he was sitting there when they picked. Instead, they went with Don Washington when they already had Carr and Flowers at CB.

The 2009 Draft left a greasy shit stain ring that's going to take a long time to scrub away.

I'm embarrassing myself to say that teams actually run at pass rushers?

Really?

I'd stop typing if I was you.
