I have to admit, seeing that, I look at the 4th down situations/strategy differently.

Going in he tells the offense they have 4 downs. That hasn't worked out well but it has to give tremendous confidence to the offense and at the same time takes some stress off.

"Relax, this play doesn't have to be THE play. I got your back. We need 4 downs we'll play 4 downs..."

That's got to be a huge boulder off the shoulders of the QB knowing that you don't have to force a single play. We'll take 4 if we need four. Calm down and execute...

Absolutely. As shitty as Matt was during that game, when it was on the line, and he knew it was his very last chance, Matt came up clutch and made every single throw.

You guys need to watch this weeks Inside the NFL on showtime. It shows the game against Buffalo with additional audio & video that wasn't on that clip. You'll be a lot less impressed with Cassell. Haley bitches him out several times for underthrowing receivers and holding onto the ball. At the end when Cassell makes a throw on 3rd down out of the shotgun Haley hears the play call going in and says, "Ohhh I'm really scared about a negative play here - please be wrong Todd"

Overall it shows the coaching staffs opinion of Cassell and it's obvious they have no confidence in him.
