He really doesn't mean to be this way. The voices in his head tell him to. |
It's really a shame that Haley plays favorites and blindly goes against what is best for his team

No one handles losing better than me. How often do you see me losing my shit and ranting and raving after a loss? Not often. What's becoming obvious is a lot of Chiefs fans don't handle winning well. They want to take the Chiefs' winning record and automatically prop them up as a legit team, and when someone speaks out against that notion, they lose their shit and call me a "bundle of sticks" or a "fuking dousche." I can't remember the last time I did that, either. So who handles what well? It would seem the Chiefs don't handle 6-6 teams very well, and some fans can't handle reality well when it smacks them in the face, as it keeps doing this year at the most inopportune times. |

Once again, and I will make this as simple and as clear as possible. Did Todd Haley or Scott Pioli, or anyone in the Chiefs organiation tell you that this is a good team and that you should hold high expectations for them? Did Todd Haley not, in fact, tell us that this is still a team learning and growing that isn't a good team yet? You got your hopes up based on previous wins. They didn't defraud you. You defrauded yourself. |

Goat Cheese has some kind of imagination. His expectations were far higher than any might have thought. I went into this season hoping to see improvement, we never saw any with Edwards, last year made me think we may have not selected the right people. The addition of Weis and Crennel bolstered hope, and we have seen progress. Milkman and I hardly ever agree on anything but with this one post he has totally destroyed the concept of fraud brought out by Goat Cheese. Job well done Milkman. |

I thought we'd win seven games. Just because they have exceeded expectations doesn't mean anyone should be pleased with 31-0 abortions. The soft schedule is clouding the idea of any real sense of progress. It feels a little phony. |

The team that hit the field in '08 and '09 would be lucky to win 5 games against this schedule, softness be damned. They are an improving team that is finally winning games they should be winning. But they are still a young team that lacks talent in key positions and no depth, especially at the most important position on the field. |

..and I've been saying this all season, or at least when the 'hoopla' started. |
From an organizational point of view the Chiefs are playing with house money. They've probably exceeded internal expectations, especially with another win or two.
From a fan point of view it's bittersweet. Sure, the improved play is great, but when you lead the division the 2nd week in December you sure as hell expect the team to make the playoffs and have a shot at advancing. |
Gochiefs: Hey, how are you?
Chubbyrehead12: I'm ok. Gochiefs: What do you look like? Chubbyredhead12: well, I've lost some weight, but am still about 40 lbs overweight. I've had some work done, but I'm basically a 4. Gochiefs: A hot Irish model?!!? Sweet! (fap, fap, fap) Chubbyredhead12: uh... Slow down. My arrow is pointing up, but no one on earth would describe me as hot. Gochiefs: uhnph... Uhnph...uhnph... Chubbyredhead12: uh... I think maybe you're overreacting. Gochiefs: I can wait to see a pic!!! Chubbyredhead12: um... Ok... But like I said... Nothing special... <pic sent> Gochiefs: you lying whore! You are a fraud! You are not a hot Irish model!!! Why, God, why!!!????!!!!! |
