I need to buy some lottery tickets so I can go tell a certain phone company to go choke on a bag of dicks.

Life How's life treating you? I am still trying to figure out what I did to piss it off~

Doesn't help that my watering hole is closed after tonight for 2 weeks... I hate breaking in new bar tenders... But it will reopen newer and better is the bright side just down the road! Doesn't help me for the next 2 weeks...

I'm trying to figure out what direction I'm supposed to go in. I'm debating between getting even more schooling, or just doubling down and going down the career path when I think it could lead in financially stable but emotionally unsatisfying directions.

But then I have a family to consider, too, you know?

I'm a happy and blessed guy. But I wish I could fast forward the tape five years to see if I should even be giving a shit right now.

Thanks for asking, luv. Feels good to talk about it.

Life isn't a dress rehearsal. Don't settle for chit. Regret is the worst part of anyones life. Whatever your dream, chase it, don't settle. Believe in yourself and go kick the chit out of every obstacle between you and your dream.

Dam# hail last night moved my dish enough out of alignment to not get a signal... Fixed now.

Good news luv. Daughter got checked out ok & has been cleared to go back to school tomarrow. They are going to do one more test to check for scars from previos surgery she had two years ago but dr doesn't seem too concerned. Now she doesn't have any excuse to miss school so am hoping for the best.

She may not have any excuses, but that doesn't mean it will be easy to get her to go. I still wish you luck.

You need to find a different job and tell them that anyway.

I'm fine. But I'm noticing a disturbing trend in the sticks. The white trailer trash jokes are now out of date. More & more I see people living in skirted camper trailers. The occasional freshly divorced bachelor living in one is fairly common. But the latest have big wheels, swingsets & school buses stopping by.

Life is going great. I bet you guys haven't missed me. I've been posting on CP less and less and less. When you work 40 hrs a week and play 12-15 hrs of online poker a week there just isn't time for posting on message boards unless it's Two Plus Two. I now sleep 4 hours a night on my quest to make my part time job into my full time job someday.

Life kicked me in the balls while simultaneously stroking my cock.

Seriously, I had my second back surgery in three years just five months ago and I have yet to return to work. The surgeon told me before surgery it would be a 6-8 month recovery before I did go back to work so I shouldn't be surprised but it is frustrating especially with spring here and wanting to get outside and get some yard work and other things done. Not to mention back to work.

I still have nights where i am so much in pain where I can't sleep and I am up till 5 or 6am until I finally just get so tired that finally that takes over the pain and then I sleep till noon or so. Haven't found any pain meds to do much help yet. I've found that standing in one place or walking for to long really irratates my back still so that's not good considering that's what I will be doing when I return to work along with lifting.

Okay, I will stop now. :doh!:

Ouch, I feel for you. I had back surgery in december, have been recovery good yet with much pain at times keeping me up at night as well. I can get around good now, much better than before the surgery. Well worth it so far. Am scared to death to go through that again. Hope & pray this time works out better for you. I am fortunate to have a job that is easy for me to work.

I can empathize with back pain. Luckily, mine was relieved with physical therapy and epidural steroid injections. Hope things get better for you. I can't imagine not having any meds that don't help at least for a little while.
