From what I've seen it's usually fat people or old balls adults that had problems with Jackass, CKY or Haggard. A lot of the shtick was just universally funny.

Pretty much. Boring old people who think Bill Cosby is a scream.

Wrong. Some just don't find that kind of stuff amusing.

I'm not old. I have a shit ton of fun quite frequently. I don't go out of my way to hurt myself or my friends. I don't find people hurting themselves or friends funny.
Especially on purpose. I do enough hurting myself on accident on a daily basis.

And a guy putting his ass, dick, or balls in another guys face isn't funny to me either. If any friend og mine did that to me his ass whipping would most likely cease our friendship.

No. Some people, like myself, think good comedy should be thoughtful. Jackass to me is like Bevis and Butthead, but without being tongue-in-cheek and having a complete lack of social commentary.

Best wishes to his family and friends in these difficult days.

What social commentary were the Three Stooges making?

You may not be old, J, but you are certainly boring. Trust me on that.

Lol that may mean something if you actually knew the first thing about me.

But you OBVIOUSLY don't. Especially if you could think for one ****ing second that I am boring. Lol

I never liked them either. The Marx Brothers? Now that's a different story.

Phobia 06-21-2011 10:06 PM

I thought about half the stuff they did was hilarious. Anything involving a midget is ripe for laughs. Anything involving people riding in shopping carts is funny. Shocking random strangers is hilarious to me. I've been doing since the Jackass crowd was in diapers.

Anything involving analy penetration was not.

A lot of the stuff on Jackass is pretty contrived, and to me you can tell they are fake laughing a lot. But the more subtle pranks that are less painful to me are still the best, like when he wore the strap on boner into the gym, or locked party boy up in the trunk and went to the gas station and he broke out, or when they had the cleaners come into the apartment to clean up all the 'blood' everywhere, those were the pranks that stay with me the longest. Love the show/movies
