The good news is that finishing 10th in the Big XII doesn't SOUND like last place, so there's that.

eh, Kansas doesn't make that many bowls. That's not a secret.

Things is...when KU makes it they win.

They don't embarrass the conference by losing to a service academy and a team with half the team suspended.

That's Missouri's role.

? #34 ranked class in 2011. Only 13 schollies left for 2012. Not sure I understand your post.

According to scout.com, you have signed 3 players:

Daniel Gray, a 3* CB
Brian Beckmann, a 2* OT
Derek Keaton, a 0* CB

Where are you seeing something different?

Rivals for 2012 (2011 is already set, I think we are confusing the years)

Brian Beckmann, 3*
Daniel Gray , 3*
Derek Keaton, 2*

Gill pulled in the #34 ranked class last year according to Rivals. He only has 13 scholarships to give out in 2012.

That being said, Gill's last two classes included multiple 4 star players and should be enough "talent" to showcase he and his staff's coaching ability. If they continue to not improve at the rate that is expected of them they will be replaced.

Perkins being gone is not a good sign for Gill.

I guess I was looking at 2012. KU has a ton for 2011, but none are more than 3*.

All the recruiting services rank players different ways.

I don't really care. Kansas has had multiple 1st team All Americans that were 2 stars in the last 5 years.

Good point. Let's see if Mangino can work his magic again.

Rumors & smoke starting fill the airways about OU heading off to the SEC if T-A&M heads to the SEC

A&M is as good as gone.
ESPN is having troubles already trying to sell the Longhorn network to other cable outlets.
This crap is going to be real good,in the coming weeks.

A&M needs to get an offer, first.

Is anyone else concerned about the Longhorn Network airing Texas high school football games?

Man we haven't even gotten into 1 year of actual play within the new Big XII and rumors are going around that it will blow up again....this definately will not last long.

LiveSteam 07-21-2011 07:18 AM

We want to play by the rules,” Texas athletic director DeLoss Dodds said. “We want everything to be in the open with integrity. We’re for the conference.”

OH BULLSHIT!!

Eh, they usually get pretty much any player they go after in Texas.

It's not a good idea though. I can't see the NCAA letting it happen.
