So, for it to not be a conspiracy, the league has to schedule a game in a cold weather city in December or January, make sure it snows, and make sure it's memorable? So, it has to be cold enough to snow, but not too late in the season so the game is meaningless, and it has to be against a team that's guaranteed to make the playoffs that year, or else it's just one big conspiracy to make Peyton Manning happy.

Again, with the LMAO

You have no idea how worth it it is to get called a conspiracy nut in exchange for getting a Colts fan to admit Peyton's Greatest Snow Game Of His Career was in Week 17 against a 4-11 Buffalo squad after home field advantage was already reached.

You made my day, and my point.

No sh*t. What's funny is if you had said Favre was a playoff choke no one would dare try to argue otherwise. In fact, a lot of people on here defending Peyton would not only ignore that statement, some would most likely agree.

I've never hoped for a Frankie thread more in my life than right now..... where you at, 159?

Save us all.

I hope Manning is out of the KC game. Can you imagine how many roughing the passer calls there would be? If someone breathed on his neck it would get a flag. Gotta protect those commercial QBs.

The only reason Manning is more important to the Colts is that Bill Polian never addressed the backup QB position, and now he would have to pay the price for that.

Kerry Collins is an over the hill scrub.

Not planning and preparing for the potential loss of your starting QB is idiocy, even if it's an iron man.

The Packers always had a backup even while Favre was in the middle of his streak.

More than that. Regardless of who the QB is, they have a horrendous running game, a bad o-line (Peyton makes them look much better than they actually are), and an average defense whose M.O. has always been "let's create turnovers because we know every team is going to try to win in a shootout." Not to mention... hard to say if the Colts really have a playcaller, given that Peyton has been pretty much calling plays for years. We'll see if Clyde Christenson actually knows how to call a game.

In his early years, yes. Today, apart from his receivers and two outstanding DEs, this team is very average.

He's a phenomenal Qb, no doubt about that, the second best of the past 10-12 year stretch even.

Google his post-season record.

That SB win had little to do with Manning.

Mannings playoff QB stats are horrendous, way worse than Brady's even before last season. Didn't he throw 3 TDs and 7 INTs during his Super Bowl run? must've been that medicore line, poor running game and turnover or nothing defense that were REALLY were the keys to that ring...

According to ESPN Insider.......

PEYTON MANNING OUT FOR THE SEASON?

So sayeth sports injury expert Will Carroll of Sports Illustrated: "Unless a very good source is flat out lying to me, Manning has not had a procedure since May. Not scheduled now. Possible, waiting on tests."

---

Jake Query of 1260 WNDE radio in Indianapolis reported today that Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning underwent another procedure on his neck earlier this week, and will miss the 2011 season.

ESPN's Adam Schefter had this to say: "One Colts official texted me this: 'We are aware of the rumors, but can't confirm rumors. That is all they are.'"

What the hell! I guess since there's finally no Farve gossip, Peyton's full of espionage talk. Driving me crazy.

Peyton Manning and Tom Brady..... one is really good in the playoffs. One is horrendous.
