Yep, I also still have my old Stevens single-shot .410 shotgun waiting for him when he turns 9. I shot a lot of pheasant with that old gun.
I wasn't strong enough to pull back the hammer on it so my dad put a little extension on it. Its still on there for my boy.

My brother shot me with an arrow from ten feet away. Hit me square in the chest, didn't have the tip but left a circle & knocked me on my ass. Hurt like a muther ****er! If it had the tip on it, would have keeled me.

At the time it was one of the few 'toons out there with a strong female character.

There'd be 3 or 4 of us guys playing out in the yard and some neighborhood girl would show up and say "I'm the Blue one!"

You'd think for a minute and go "****, yeah, we do kind of need the blue one..."

Those were ahead of their time, the graphics, for a little take home unit, were really pretty good, felt like playing the real thing.

I had one GI Joe . My POPS called it a doll,I got pissed & threw it away.
I still remember how shocked I was. My lil sister playes with dolls. NOT ME DAD!
After that it was all plastic solders. I still find lil toy solders around the yard every now & then

I had the Tyrannosaurus, anklyosaurus, triceratops, and a couple of the Raptors. God I loved them. I still have them in the attic at my parents house but God knows where all the small parts are.
