Gibson runs a good route, but there is no way Cassel can get him the ball that deep.

That's your one-stop shop for Cassel debates this year.

Anyone defends that clown, you feel free to copypasta that atom bomb of Cassel death.

RunKC 07-28-2012 10:57 PM

I hope Cassel does have a season like 2010 this year, along with a playoff win or two. This place would explode and Clayton's spin job would be EPIC

A season where he rides everyone else's coattails, posts shit numbers likes 3200 yards and 58 percent, and sucks a giant satanic cock in the playoffs?

You think I'd need to spin that?

And you bet this place would explode. With RAGE.

Sfeihc 07-28-2012 11:20 PM

My source says that all things being equal Stanzi would be the starter. That being said Cassel didn't have a pot to piss in year 1. Year 2 he's a Pro Bowler, Chiefs win the division and Weis is the OC. Year 3 was a cluster**** from jump street. Maybe this could be a big year for him? After all Daboll came in here with Matt Moore and lit the joint up last season.
I'm just glad Palko is gone.
One more thing. Calm down, Clayton, you freakin' drama queen.

I don't want to wish an injury on anyone but a career ender on Cassel would be the best thing for the chiefs franchise.

yes you do, because you are a pea brained spoiled brat moron. Not only that, you have a shitty life so you have to wish ill on others. Even a ****ing reerun doesnt wish injury on the OTHER team...but guess what, you just weren't raised right.

Do I hope his game takes a complete 180 this year and he's actually really really good? And by really really good I mean not like his "Only play well against shit defenses" 2010 self. I mean like a kind of Cassel not even his supporters believed he could become. Do I hope he's that kind of QB? **** yes.

But I can guarantee you, the odds of him all of a sudden "getting it" like that having started 4 seasons at age 30 are remote. Super small. Minute. Tiny. How many QBs hold the clipboard for the first few years of their career, finally get an opportunity to start, then suck for 4 years, and then just out of nowhere become super ****ing great franchise-level? I'm trying to think, seriously. Rich Gannon is the closest, but he had a far better foundation and skills in place when he first started playing games in the regular season than Cassel. I'm digging back and coming up with names like Elvis Grbac and Jeff George (dude was pretty ****ing close to taking the Vikings to the Super Bowl). And that's not quite what we as Chiefs fans have in mind, I'm sure.

Hammock Parties 07-28-2012 11:34 PM

I wish for it every night.

"Now I lay me down to sleep

I pray the lord my team to keep

If Cassel dies before I wake

Come morn I'll have a protein shake."

RealSNR 07-28-2012 11:35 PM

Jake Delhomme. That's a good guy to point to.

I liked Jake Delhomme a lot. If Matt can be in-his-prime Jake Delhomme this year, I'll take it.

Again, though. Not. Likely.

Pawn don't be jealous because your source is WPI.

Clayton, I appreciate your passion but if Dilfer, Hostetler and Rypien can win a Super Bowl so can Cassel. This roster is loaded with talent for the first time since the 90's let see what happens.
