He got caught from behind in the Atlanta game because he kind of showboated a little when he thought he was in the clear. This time, you could tell he was all business - put the head down and GO!

Yep. When he did that, I was looking for something special - it happened!

I'll try to cut back rather than sprint past the guy who clearly had the angle...
This. That DB took a great angle.... and Charles knew it. I'm guessing Charles was thinking "horsecollar" and "injury" when he chose to cut back instead of try and outrun.

Charles was thinking "OH SHIT I'M GONNA FUMBLE."

He's fumbled a couple times before when he's sprinting all out like a bat out of Pioli hell.

I can't even remember the last time he coughed up the football.

I will also concede that I've noticed Lilja struggling far more in pass-pro than in the run, so perhaps I haven't been giving him credit for what he's doing well in the run game.

But regardless of the PFF rankings, it's not hard to believe that Asomoah has been our worst O-lineman this year. He's been pretty damn awful out there.

I'll agree with most of this. I'm largely criticizing Lilja as a pass blocker, so he may deserve more credit as a run blocker. Just Can't get over how lost he looks at times.

As for Asamoah, I know he got beat up by Williams against Buffalo, but I don't recall anything horrible from the first game though. That could be my short memory though. I know he looked good this week.

But since this team has a hard on for playing guys out of position, ya know.

This is funny.
