Well, first of all, Quinn is probably WORSE than Cassel. And by benching Cassel for any length of time, you bruise his fragile ego so thoroughly he won't recover, at least not this season.

By starting Quinn, you're all but guaranteeing we pick top 5.

By the way, I have a brief, but somewhat interesting story I should like to share with you. Years ago (some of you may actually recall this event) Richie Hayward was stoned out of his gourd and riding his motorcycle in the Southern California canyons and had a terrible accident in which he broke his left leg in about 17 places. As a result, he was in traction at UCLA for a month or so. During that time, Mel Blanc sent him a "Get Well Audio Cassette" that included get well messages from all the characters that Mel used to do ... Bugs, Daffy, Elmer ... all of them. It was the coolest damn thing I ever heard in my life.

Cassel = Beaky.

If Stanzi turns this team around and we end up 9-7 (which would mean Stanzi would be 8-4 as the starter) how would that be a bad thing?

This place is crazy in some ways.

Why would people be disappointed with a 25 year old quarterback that we drafted going 8-4?

LMAO:LOL::doh!: your hard on for Stanzi is just so cute...the guy doesn't even dress out, and can't outplay Quinn. Yup, going to step right in after kicking off his street shoes and light up all the defenses yet to play. :doh!:

I see you don't believe in the Miracle On Stanzi Street, Mr. King Chief Fan.

Exactly.

again, where did I say those things would happen? I CLEARLY (I thought it was clear anyway) that we were discussing hypotheticals that would still end with us taking a first round qb.

Some of you need to pay better attention.

Even though I like Stanzi, I was also the most vocal member in favor of trading up for Tannehill...even though almost nobody else wanted to...I was also on the bandwagon of guys that wanted to trade the farm for rg3...and will be part of the group willing to trade anything to get Geno.

It's like I can't like one player but at the same time fully acknowledge that there are also better options without people being able to understand that.

you made your point...don't be mad. I will yell with you for the likes of RGIII, Geno and some others....

Universal top 3 criteria for benching a QB
1-he's inept
2-he's constantly making poor decisions
3-he's making bad choices

"Coach Romeo Crennel admitted Monday that Brady Quinn could pick up some first-team snaps in practice this week. "

Weren't there reports last week that Quinn was taking first team snaps?
