I feel bad for the guy, I really do. I felt bad for Damon Huard too, when his time was up. It's just patently clear that no matter how bad he wants it, he's just not good enough.

It has to really be an awful thing to be faced with the fact that the thing you've worked your entire life for is just not going to happen because you just aren't talented enough.

He's bad. Hopefully, that'll be the end of that chapter.

The team looked very different on the Quinn drive. Small sample size, I know, but he made a couple of throws there that Cassel just lacks the ability to make. Maybe the light bulb comes on for him, sometimes it does for guys. Funny, he's Weeden's age.

I would love it if Brady discovered himself with a team that has a decent O-Line, running game, and receivers. All I know is he may have only been in there for a drive but it wasn't mop-up time and he moved the ball.

I really don't understand the fixation to start Cassel. If you had a RB who turned the ball over a dozen times in 5 games he wouldn't be playing again. Why they look past this fact about Cassel (not to mention his poor accuracy and decision-making) is really a mystery.

But good job for Winston to totally take the focus off what a turd Cassel is...

You shut your whore mouth :)

I don't feel bad for him one bit....the guy made $50 million off of what exactly?

A fluke season in NE where he threw jump balls to Randy Moss all season?

The guy signed a big deal, and was never faced with any real competition for the starting position. You can tell in his demeanor because when he ****s up he thinks its not his fault and he grades himself out perfect.

He had nothing to be afraid of because there was no one that could replace him. Well it's gotten so bad at this point to where there HAS to be a change made, which is why I firmly believe that Pioli told Cassel on the phone to take himself out of the game, therefore no one in particular gets blamed, they can all use injury as a scapegoat.

Who else and why would Cassel be on the phone unless it was Pioli? All the other people he reports to are on the sidelines Crennel, Zorn, Daboll.

Quinn will start at TB. He has too. No way this can go on forever, it just can't. If it does then Clark truly just doesn't care about the Chiefs and looks at them as some kind of small hobby.

Actually he threw a bunch of 7 yard drag routes and Welker got a ton of YAC.

He struggled to throw deep to Moss.

Pioli told him to fake an injury because he knew the fans would boo.

All of the effort is for naught. Cassel is now a martyr.

Pioli will be back, Cassel will be back.
