pioli's silence is a direct measure of his contempt for the fans
clark's 3-days-late memo is a measure of how stupid he thinks we are they both think we're suckers |
Adam Shine and Rich Gannon were visiting with John Madden today on their show and Madden gave his two cents on the Cassel hit etc. I'll bet that's what prompted Clark to finally do something.Let everyone else run their mouth but when two ex-Raiders....:)

Fact is this-chiefs fans are 13th in attendance w 27th market-and we are 12-28 at home since Oct 07-SL is last in att w 11-28 rec same time |
Nice generic statement by Clark 4 days after the fact. He was obviously prompted to give that by someone. How about a statement about how you are tired of the Chiefs sucking and not winning a playoff game for almost two decades? Nice photo on facebook by the way. Who photoshopped you in there with the fans tailgaiting? We all know your silver spoon 5'6" ass wouldn't be out there hanging out with us 'common folk' before a game.

This town will rise with a franchise QB. He will get people back at Arrowhead. They aren't stupid, they know it's a QB league. The fans aren't going because the economy and they know we aren't going anywhere. I promise you the people will find the money if we draft a QB and add more pieces to the puzzle.
Pioli, on the other hand, has lost this town. Only a miracle will bring him praise and acceptance from the Chiefs faithful (drafting a QB in the first round just might do it). |

I'm starting to/hoping to think, that full court press attention IS being paid behind the scenes in some way, but those two together make for some of the tightest assed, most conservative people EVER... they're trying not to further inflame things or keep themselves eyeball deep in negative headlines about their suck, with a big press conference & grandiose statement.
Whatever is brewing, it. better. be. good. |
Great statement. The obvious fail mentioned countless times already is its 4 days too late. Maybe he just heard the news.

Scotties final thought is - i hope the heat, but not the best vitriol, is applied to Clark, HE is guy we need to stand up & make the tough calls, why piss in his face? a handful disagree, but most give ol Clark due credit for trying to make big changes in his first time at bat. Keep the pressure up, but dont get ugly, we need Clark. |
I think this is a positive. The reason Pioli hasn't said anything means PR knows we don't want to hear him. The banner flies, calling for his head, it's probably best to not provoke us anymore with what words he would say. It has begun.

I think it took 4 days for Clark to say anything because he was waiting for Pioli to do the right thing. By Tuesday, it was apparent Pioli wasn't going to say ANYTHING, let alone the RIGHT thing. So Clark stepped in and did what was necessary. The writing is on the wall for Scott Pioli. Don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya. |

That was a little short. His satellite phone battery must have run out...no where to charge it on that particular tropical island.

"A small few who may have cheered when Matt went down "
Well count me in as one of the few! I watched the game at a local BWW and jumped up started clapping and screamed "Get that MF off the field! via cart, ambulatory or dragged!" It is a shame that a QB change has to be "forced" on to this ****ing team - because 13 turnovers doesn't stand for shit! |
