gay people can serve in our military and protect you but they can't be joining the boy scouts or be in an NFL locker room...

49ers WR Randy Moss on issue of gay teammates: "You see guys, you sometimes wonder but it's not anyone's job to call them out. I really believe we should be able to look beyond that. It's 2013." Moss was then asked if an openly gay high school player would be recruited the same way other college prospects are. He said: "I don't think we're ready to move past that, but we should be. We need to be able to move on and accept it."

Randy is awesome.

Again: all player retractions are 100% of their own will and their own words.../sarcasm

We are definately not ready to move past it. Why does Te'o continue to live in the closet?

People like this guy need to stop being "honest" and start seriously reconsidering their backwards, ignorant, misinformed worldviews.

I disagree, there is something very refreshing about people being honest.

He is not a politician or anyone of note who can influence local or national policy on gay rights. He is an athlete with an opinion and he is being vilified for having one. People speak of diversity, but at the end of the day the same people want everyone to feel and think as they do...yeah diversity at its best.

Me too. It'd be like trying to take passages out of a book written about people and events that happened over 2000 years ago, and somehow make them applicable to today's world.

Would have been better if he used the term pillow biter instead of just saying gays.

I'm sure you're experienced enough to know that 99% of all gay men would never hit on you as a heterosexual man, because anyone would know immediately that you're not gay.

So, there should be no fear, no anger and no intolerance towards homosexuals in general.

Actually Dane, that's BS. I've been hit on by more gay dudes than you can shake a stick at. At 255 and sub 10% bodyfat, they always think I'm a bodybuilder (I'm not). And to show how truly non homo phobe I am, it doesn't bother me. And i like pussy so much the wife and I sometimes have a girlfriend together. Feel me?

My point is, that's a lie and a myth. A few months ago I was with the wife and kids at Houlihans and the waiter, who was totally flaming gay, and he told me he paid for my appetizer and drinks and winked at me. I laughed and gloated over my free shit to the wife.

Second, one of my lifelong friends brother is a total flamer. And tells me all the time about all of the "straight" men that get drunk and do gay shit. Later "blaming it on the alcohol".

Gay men say this as a cop out. "You're straight, I'd never hit on you". When straight guys find out the hot chic is a lesbian, we don't see her as off limits, we see her as a challenge. You think it's any different with gay guys? Hardly.

Again, I got no problem with gay guys and have several really good friends that are gay. The wife obviously likes women too. I also don't have a problem with someone saying they don't like queers and or whatever either. I really get fed up with people being offended over people saying things that have ZERO impact on their lives.
