How can we really overpay for him? There's a ceiling: Duane Brown, and a floor: 10th best paid LT. Just negotiate between that. No need to let him hit the market. And even if you overpay him, who cares?

If he decides to go out into free agency and someone else wants to sign him, does he have to give us an option to match it etc? |
Overpaying Albert for a few million is worth the risk of potentially losing him, especially when he's been a loyal soldier on a shit team with a terrible QB that has caused him to become vastly underrated.

Frankly, I'm over caring if they overpay for someone or not. Not my money, don't give a shit.

There's absolutely no proof that it's a chronic problem. |
2-14 garbage dumpster fire of a team with like 6 good players on the whole roster and people are worrying about overpaying to keep 1.
sad. |
Any amount that we might overpay Albert is going to look like what Struthers asks you to donate to third-world countries compared to what Pioli gave Cassel and Jackson.
Is it asking too much for that loathsome **** to die on camera? |
@evansilva: #Chiefs coach Andy Reid referred to free agent LT Branden Albert's 2012 back issues as "a fairly significant injury": http://t.co/8RVTkwTn5P
